Pot smokers, loud neighbors, maintenance never fixes things properly, garbage bins an eyesore and always have trash outside of them, gross carpeting, washer in basement always broken, mold in basement storage and worst of all infestations. And for all this, they raise the rent by $200 at the end of each lease.

NOT GOOD
HORRIBLE experience wouldn't move here if it was the last place available better off staying at a hotel.. management is completely irrational and will not adapt. I was hopeful it would get better.. its only gotten worse.
DONT MOVE HERE!!!!

not what it seems
My family moved here is 2018 when it was still forest aces. The apartment is a standard grade apartment made with cheap materials. Laminate in kitchen, tile in bathroom carpet everywhere else. The appliances are older than me (33) and within two days of moving in the dishwasher broke and was replaced with another ancient dishwasher. The people they hire for maintenance have no experience in maintenance. My screen door keeps coming off and they tried to fix it twice and it still came off my... husband final fixed it. Our floors creak with each step and when I asked maintenance what they could do about it they said they re-nailed it down when they put down the new carpet but they used finish nails I know because they came up through the carpet. The only solution after that was removing my furniture and having them nail again. Ok now any person with a construction background would know your suppose to glue and screw the subfloor to the joist causing no creaking. The other tenents in my building anyway are loud and obnoxious, blaring music in the parking lots, screaming in the hallway, and slamming doors. Also parking is horrible, tenants are only allowed two cars and you need a tag to park overnight otherwise you have to park on the street. No one follows it and either has more then two cars or their friends park in residents spots over night. I only reason I gave it one star is that the apartment itself is a decent space large living and dining space, spacious bedrooms and closet, decent bathroom. Rent doesn’t reflect the apartment and keep going up every year.

I have been here just a few months. The place smells like a dirty ashtray.
I just noticed the Forest Acres write up says Non Smoking. Well, every day, several times a day some of the tenants are smoking. They are smoking inside the apartments. You can tell when they light up because the nasty smoke travels directly into our place. The smell permeates the whole building. When you first enter the lobby it smells and feels like you have stuffed your nose in a dirty ashtray. Smokers are a selfish group of people and it shows here as they are smoking without regard for the... neighbors. You would think management would do something as they already had a major fire due to smokers. When the next fire happens, and it will, I hope they get sued out of business. If your a non smoker, care about your safety or have children I would not recommend Forest Acres.Sorry I have to write such a bad review but management is well aware of this and does nothing about it.
