Probably the best thing about thus property is the location. I lived in the high-rise for 11 years. During that time, there were several improvements to the outside property,but minimal upgrades to the interior of the building. There is one small elevator that is frequently and consistently out of service - sometimes for a day or longer. We were told for over 2 years that plans were in the works for elevator repairs,but that never happened. The water is frequently shut off for hours at a... time because the plumbing is old and outdated. ?? lead pipes?? The property managers on-site tried to be helpful but were hindered by "management". I am a senior citizen, on a fixed income, but my rent went up $50.00 a year even though management knew my situation and I would request a lesser rent increase. I loved my apartment and was sorry to move, but I am saving almost $400.00 a month for a larger apartment

This apartment complex is not safe. It is not clean. It is not well maintained. The only positive thing I would have had to say was quick response to maintenance requests but then I had to wait almost a month for a new AC unit in the summer after inquiring about the status on multiple occasions. The side door on the main building never locks and people know it, I’ve seen delivery drivers and other people enter without a door pass on numerous occasions. The trash is always overflowing and broken... glass is always around. Ceiling tiles fall down and are skirted off to the laundry room and never cleaned up. There are shopping carts EVERYWHERE, inside and outside, it seems endless. Water is turned off frequently and sometimes with little notice. I have lived here for almost a year and the fire alarm has been set off on four separate occasions that I am aware of, always false alarms and sometimes in the early hours of the morning. Nobody cleans up after their pets and they have no incentive to do so either, so walking around in the grass leaves you constantly dodging dog waste. I had to have a man arrested in the common space workout room more than three months ago and management still avoids my requests to talk to them about it to this day. My neighbor constantly smokes in his apartment and the smoke penetrates the walls, I have tried going to the office for help and nothing ever gets better here. There is a mouse problem in the winter and a silverfish problem in the summer. This place is dirty, loud and poorly managed. I would never recommend living here to anyone that I know.

Great place!
Weymouth Place is a great apartment complex. Location is key, clean and the pool is a plus in the summer for my son and I. Management was very good with move in and move out dates and affordability is very good. Whenever I have an issue it's fixed while i'm a work...couldn't be more convenient. I would recommend it to everyone and I am!

A safe, affordable Community for families, singles and seniors
Weymouth Place is a safe community with many families, seniors and singles. It is conveniently located to the commuter rail in East Weymouth, Weymouth Landing & the Hingham commuter boat to Boston and Route 3 is 1/4 of a mile. The MBTA bus line is at the corner of Middle Street & Route 53. It is a stones throw from 2 Strip Plazas, that have Shaws, Stop & Shop and Walmart within walking distance (next store to the Community). BJ's is up the street about 1/4 mile as well. Weymouth Police and... Fire are 1/8 of a mile away as well. My apartment is well maintained and the staff do their best to address any concerns in a timely fashion. There is an outdoor pool and a small fitness center for the residents. It is very rare that we ever loose power due to a Blizzard or a Summer Brown Out. The power company is National Grid and electric bill is very reasonable. Heat & hot water are included. My rent has not been increased in 2 years. My Neighbors are great and they do allow pets in the Community for an extra charge. There are many great stores and restaurants in the area and this location is a 10 to 20 minute drive to the Beaches in Weymouth, Hingham, Nantasket and Cohasset.
