This should really be a buyer beware situation. This used to be an amazing place to live and the management was superb. That is no longer the case. It’s an older building, but it really made it up for it with amazing management and good prices (more bang for your buck). This is no longer the case. Utilities used to be included. That is no longer the case. They are also using the bait and switch used by most buildings in the area now— you get a great 1 year’s rent and then the rent goes up... dramatically. Again, please buyer/renter beware. As mentioned in other reviews, you receive no real advance notice on major infrastructure plans. That should be communicated to potential renters as well as current renters. It is not.

Poor management
Entire garage is shut down for six months (!!) from June to November 2023, and all residents must park in public parking, with no reduction to the monthly parking fee ($150) despite the (major) inconvenience. This option was chosen over shutting down the garage in sections over the course of 12 months, allegedly to “minimize disruption to residents.” Residents must now pick up county parking passes on the first of the month, each month, or risk getting a ticket from the city (which will not be... reimbursed). Ridiculous decision by Southern Management Company, which potential tenants may want to consider before signing a lease — particularly given that there will be (very loud) construction occurring for the foreseeable future, which can be heard throughout the building. There are a lot of other options (with better management) in Bethesda. I will be moving elsewhere at the end of my lease. Do not recommend.

Not what it used to be
The Triangle Towers used to be a great place to live. It was a great value for downtown Bethesda, MD. Yes. it is an older building, but your utilities were included (this is no longer the case). Additionally, there have been so many major renovations over the last few years. There has been the update of the balconies with horrible noise. Now they are redoing the parking garage which is forcing residents to move out of the building parking garage and into the local city garages for 6 months.... Additionally, residents will now have to listen to extremely loud construction for 6 months starting this summer. Between the price increases, decreased customer service, and major renovations… It is just not worth it.

Fond Memories
This is a very well managed apartment property. I enjoyed my time here, and wish other properties would invest in staff that take pride in maintaining a property the way the Triangle Towers management does.
I decided to move across the country, however, I remember my time here fondly.

Wonderful Management; Terrific Apartment
Triangle Towers isn't a new building, but that's actually an advantage. The walls are thick so that noise is minimal (rarely heard neighbors upstairs or on either side). The residents are, for the most part, quiet, respectful of each other and friendly. The location is great- a tad far from the Metro, but not bad at all and near a ton of restaurants. I lived there from February 2014-December 2015 in a sizeable studio, moving only because I was relocating out of state. The management is... responsive and *incredibly* considerate of the residents. For me, this was the best apartment living experience I could imagine. I'd move back to the building in a second if I ever were to come back to Bethesda. I own a condo where I now live, but actually miss living in Triangle Towers!
