Roach, spiders, centipedes, bugs, etc. Maintenance is lazy. They ignore work orders and don't care. I Got pictures just don't know how to upload them. My skin crawl being here I don't feel at home. My 3-year-old and I Keep getting insect bites and will be seeing a dermatologist, I'll be giving birth soon and fear for my newborns too. Am just sick of talking and calling.

Maintenance will enter your apartment when you are not home! And just hang out! Management did nothing to stop it.

All maintenance calls are completed in the order they are received and our residents do not have to be home while work is being completed. I assure you that the situation you are describing is a misunderstanding and not typical of Hyde Park. If you... would like to discuss your experience in more detail, please contact me at 410-683-7000. Perhaps with better understanding, we can change your mind about Hyde Park. Roxie B. A Choice of Health or Rent-What would you do?
THIS IS A WARNING to all potential tenants for these apartments. If you become ill and are hospitalized, they will not be empathetic or sympathetic. My friend was hospitalized and the physician called the apartment complex to explain that the patient was hospitalized for about a week and would likely be discharged from the hospital in the next few days. The doctor asked if there was anything that could be done to offset any late charge fees as the patient was very concerned and worried about... this. The leasing office said there was nothing they could to waive fees, but if my friend wanted to write a letter later for the leasing office to consider after the fees (to see if he could get reimbursed somehow after paying a late fee) then that would be all they could do. My friend was not in his home for almost a week. So he wasn’t even using their apartment because he was in the hospital and will get another bill (the hospital bill in addition to his rent with a late fee). This is not the place that will relate to you as a human. As I said, they will not empathize. They will not sympathize. However, they too may become ill one day and require a hospitalization. They may need assistance, and understanding as well one day. My friend had to make a decision to stay in the hospital so he could get better or to leave the hospital against the doctor’s advice so that he could make it home in time to pay his rent. No one should have to make that choice. A happy place to live should not be a life death decision. Think twice and think a third and fourth time and many more times before you consider moving here. Please take time to read all the reviews and don’t’ rush into a decision to move here. I would strongly urge you to move to a place that would care about you and your loved ones not only during the good times, but also the bad or hard times. Your health and life may very well depend on it.

Thank you for taking the time to bring your concerns to our attention. It is company policy to reimburse late fees after they are paid for extenuating circumstances. I'm sorry to hear that you disagree. Please give us a call to discuss your... experience in more detail or if you have any suggestions for improvement at 410-683-7000. We truly appreciate your friend's residency and hope they are feeling much better. Roxie B. Community Liaison

Not worth the trouble
This place literally try's to control everything you do. If you have toys or whatever in your back yard you get a letter. They do weekly lawn inspections, I cut my grass four days before inspection and still got a letter saying it's too high. Not to mention my home was broken into and when the maintenance man came he stuck a wooden board in my burst out window without nailing down or anything, lied and said he'd be right back after a few hours past me my wife and kids decided to sleep else where... for the night. Don't trust them.

AS for a senior my husband they don't have an elevator. He has to climb steps and it is very hard on his knees. The kitchen needs to be up to date.
