Careless

I’ve been here since 2021. My building used to have a locked door to get down to the basement where the trash is kept and the washer/dryer, too. The door was broken and has never been replaced. It’s been over a year! The dryer has not worked since I moved in 4 YEARS AGO. But if you go to the building where the leasing office is, oh it’s perfect. They took my rental payment but claim I missed a month, and even after showing proof I paid EACH and EVERY month, it has yet to be resolved. The area is... nice though. The paint in the apartment starts to peel and become raised due to the heat though so, beware.

Amazing

I toured the Lawrence apartments hoping to find a small comfortable apartment for myself. I wasn't too sure what to expect from the tour but what I got was more than expected, I toured with Mr. Williams and it felt like I was touring with a friend. He has been nothing but professional and open to any and all questions I had. Unfortunately, due to my scheduling I was unable to lease with The Lawrence but will keep them in mind when the time comes around next time!!

ZERO STARS!!! DON’T DO IT!

The absolute worst apartment complex I’ve ever lived in. PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU MOVE HERE! I currently live here and I wish I could just get out!! I have emailed the owner of this complex three times and he has yet to address any of the concerns. The current property manager still has yet to complete the fixes within the apartment and it’s been since June! June! Multiple emails and conversations in between and unfulfilled promises. If you even try to address anything instead of being... professional and listening to your concerns as a manager should. she just yells and talks over you, telling you that you are “insulting her” because she has done her job and she can’t force the owner to do his. Please beware of what you are getting into! They are so unprofessional in every aspect and it is not worth the stress!

Think Twice Before Moving Here

I'd like to first say that the old Greenbelt area is a nice quiet place to live. It has plenty of greenery and trails for you to enjoy your walks during the day. It's a quaint area. However, the apartments have trash in the basement. We are to put our trash into the cans inside of the basement. Which in returns starts to smell up the whole apartment. The stairs cases have been swept once in over a year. I have picked up trashed in the hallways and kept the area okay looking. The dryer in the... laundry room is older than me. It doesn't dry the clothes all the way. It took more than a month to even get anyone out here to change the coin machine. They're are pile of clothes that sits in the basement for weeks sometimes months at a time, molded and smelly. We are on our 3rd property manager within 1.5 yrs. Our door leading to the apts can be easily be pried open because it's busted. The front leading door doesn't close all the way like most apts security doors do. The light fixture on the front porch doesn't work. So that area is dark at night. Our back door is left open. I am scared to do laundry in our apts at night in fear that someone lives in the basement. There is a tenant that leaves trash in front of their door AND in front of the front door on the bottom level leaving the place smell like human waste. I want to add that the apartments complex felt the need to paint the outside of the apartments the other day mean while the inside looks horrible. They usually keep up with grass surrounding the apartments. Oh, you will have to call for an exterminator if you rent here and don't like critters living with you.

Great Apartment, Terrible Management

The apartment itself was fabulous. It is old and charming and in a wonderful neighborhood. Everything is walkable including the co-op, the renovated movie theatre, a cute deli, a nice man selling tasty pastries. It is located across the street from a library and the best farmer's market full of iced coffee, a woman on a recorder, and hipsters. It is a wonderful spot. The management on the other hand is less than responsive, not entirely compassionate, hard to contact. So, I strongly recommend... living here if you want to be a part of a lovely community and are willing to pay more to a company that has fought activists in order to gentrify the area all the while not improving the standard of living for residents.
