I rented an apartment from Karen & Vin for over 5 years. I'll say that I've lived in at least a half dozen apartments since college, and by far this was the best landlord experience I've had. They are fair, friendly, and responsive to anything that comes up. They're also a Mom & Pop-type operation, so there's a personal touch and it's worlds better than some giant, bureaucratic property management company. Would definitely rent from them again.
The building location is also perfect, positioned... directly between Prince Georges Metro and the Arts District (each ~0.75 mi away). There are also several bus stops (including UMD shuttle) within 50 yards.
