I am rating this property one star due to the unprofessionalism and just overall poor experience. The unrenovated units have what appears to be rust accumulation stuck on the appliances-but yet they want to hold tenants to ridiculous standards. Rude staff who want to berate you as if you are not paying rent for the space, all while picking and choosing who to do this with (I am not fooled). Maintenance staff who think they can speak to certain tenants anyway they want. If you attempt to get... any clarifications from the higher ups-your requests will not be responded to. People pay their rent for shelter and peace and mind, not for nonsense. If you are looking to rent here, please take time to research all the reviews they have across various sites. You will see a consistent issue-unprofessionalism and non responsiveness to tenant matters (all while taking your money). And they have the audacity to respond to accurate reviews telling disgruntled tenants (and rightfully so) to contact them through an email they never even respond to. And they know they aren't going to respond. Do with the information, what you will. Unprofessional business practices, for sure.

Lisa made things happen ??
Lisa patiently walked my family through the process, and encouraged the staff to prepare the unit just in time for our hectic schedule. Maintenance works hard despite being short staffed and responds quickly. Thank you for welcoming us to the Chesapeake Landing Family!

A hidden Gem
I am a real tenant that just moved in. Let me just say it's all about LISA LISA LISA! She really made the experience everything for us. She went above and beyond for us to make everything just right. She was also very patient and helpful. We are hear really because of her excellent care and outstanding customer service. Very nice community, people are nice, maintenance responds fast, and apartments are nicely sized. It's been a great experience.

Not happy
I would not recommend this apartment complex. Upon leaving the complex, the rental office stated that due to some small spots in the living room only, they had to replace the entire apartment's flooring (carpet), the dish washer continuously had complications so it was not usable during our year stay although I called multiple times to get it fixed, and rent is too expensive due to the company deciding to "update" the appearance of the apartment . Also, upon entry to the complex, we were not... informed that the 1st month's gas bill would tacked on as the "last month's payment" and although residents had to have parking passes, visitors were still allowed to park in resident spaces making parking extremely scarce daily.

Better
I like the recent changes to the apartment complex. They have added cameras and bright lighting in the hallways and outside the complex.
