It could be worse
Ive lived in my apartment for 8 months. The neighborhood itself, is quiet and pretty welcoming. But we have had nothing but issues living here as far as maintenance and urgency to get things fixed. Ive had my bathroom flood and my dishwasher leak water into my dining room. When maintenance FINALLY came to fix it, they threw my dishes that were in my cabinet, all over the floor (yes, they threw them) and the toilet still leaks in the bathroom and doesnt flush all the way. The vent/fan in the... bathroom is also broken. I believe its the motor because it makes an extremely obnoxious sound when turned on. When maintenance came to fix that after weeks of having to use the bathroom and shower with the lights off, they just sealed the vent cover to the vent with caulking and now the problem in not accessible but it still makes that horrible sound when turning the fan on. Apparently it isnt urgent enough for them to come back and fix it. Im not sure they even know what they are doing. There are also washers and dryers located in the basement, that we can use. Those havnt worked since the 2nd month ive lived here, so I have to do my laundry elsewhere. Another issue I have with my apartment is the water. I had to go out and buy a filter pitcher so that I can filter my water because I have an infant and I dont feel safe with him drinking water with black specs floating around in it. I pay $1000/m for my apartment and that is extremely convenient but they are raising the prices at the end of the year and im not sure I am ok with that given all of the issues ive had. I have seen SOOOOOO many people move out since ive moved in just 8 months ago. Ive never seen that fast of a turnover rate in an apartment complex. I hope you found this review helpful!
