Been here several years and the unit is large but the up keep is poor? The alarm system is always off at the main switch. They won't repair the appliances properly, patchwork only The dogs poop all over the place even inside the building! They don't remove the old mattresses or furniture from the grounds in a timely matter. No real response from the office. They tow indiscriminately. The laundry facilities are horrific in my building... scary dark wet place! No security, doors are broken every... time they are fixed and have not worked in years.

Young Professionals Beware
Renewing my lease was a huge mistake. Was attempting to work with rental office with issues out of good faith only to be given run around in terms of results. Good location if you enjoy listening sirens from the local hospital and traffic jams getting in and out the complex during rush hour. Buildings are really old; you will hear your neighbors every move, conversations (if the yell/fight a lot) and tv/music selections. Pray that you don’t have neighbors like mine with surround sound so loud... your floors vibrate or soccer games/WWF smackdown above your head. I’ve lost 3 picture frames that have fallen of the walls and have had to put my curtains back up more times than I? can count. Quiet hours are from 11 - 7 but not enforced by the rental office even though it’s listed within the lease. Apartments are very spacious. Controlled access to buildings but my building door is often jammed so haven’t been able to truly enjoy that feature. Will experience soliciting and child’s play within buildings. You will have what seems like quarterly inspections of your unit where you’ll be given a 20 day window of when maintenance will inspect. You are expected to make sure maintenance is able to access your apartment, however you will not be notified of if/when the inspection took place. Two weeks ago i walked into my living room only to notice a gentleman on a ladder at my patio. When i asked he stated he was contracted by the rental office but could produce no documentation. The rental office is not open on weekends so i wasn’t able to verify if that was the case. The ladies within the rental office are very pleasant but do not expect a call or email back. I also have to keep a rug pushed to the inside of my door too keep the marijuana smell from within the building at bay. If you can afford better, spare yourself the peace of mind. Oh, and sometimes the water in the tub will come out with a brownish hue so be careful. Other random issues include flooding from other units via the kitchen sink, units on the same electrical circuit (blackouts)and disrespectful neighbors that management indulges and makes excuses for. Some of the neighbors are truly pleasant though.

Forest Hills Apartments
The inside of the apartments are nice sized , needs a little upgrading inside the units such as counter tops and cabinets and kitchen tile floor and the bathrooms look bad ... but its very roomy and nice sized.
It is a lot of kids and teenagers that walk around the neighbor smoking drinking and fighting and taking over the playground where the little kids are suppose to play , they are not much good with cleaning the property and inside the buildings
