Paper thin walls
Absolutely a no-go for teleworkers, children who are doing online schooling or teens and college students who need to study. Too much noise from neighbors (on both sides) because the walls are PAPER THIN! Too much noise outside from the on-going construction. Staff was always nice but it doesn’t matter because they change staff a lot. A few times it was hard to reach someone but I was able to go into the office and get results.

Bring earplugs
Deafening construction noise starting before 7 am, and going until 5 pm. Construction vehicle fuel fumes, so you can't even go outside. Constant false fire alarms.

Living at Fireside Park Apartments
The past almost two years Fireside Park Apartments have been my home. I originally chose these apartments because of the location, pet policy and value. However, I stayed because of the wonderful personnel of Edge management; Robert, Phillip, Janea, Seth and Franco. They have been the most professional, capable and caring team over my stay at Fireside Park Apartments.

Fireside Park Apartments
This complex has a great location, especially for the price. It's only a mile from Rockville Town Center, which allows just a few minutes walk to restaurants, bars, shopping etc. It's also just a few minutes walk from the Metro. Rockville Pike is only about 5 minutes by car, so you can access your surroundings quickly and easily. The complex has a pool, a picnic area, and a playground for children. It is pet friendly and offers doggy bag stations throughout the complex. There is also a small... park nearby, so that you have an area to walk your dog, exercise, or play tennis or basketball. Although it's locale is great, the actual apartments can be on the shabbier side. Most of the apartments come with a fireplace which is a bonus, but it can't make up for the small bathrooms or the washer that you have to hook up to the sink (there are stackable washer and driers available in the refurbished apartments). A lot of the ground apartments have patios which can offer more space and a beautiful view in some cases. I personally love my patio. However, ground apartments tend to have insect problems like spiders, ants, and crickets invading your space. The second and third floors offer balconies. If you were looking into this place I would choose a refurbished with a balcony. Also, do not expect much help from the office managers as only one of them has any experience or expertise and she is hardly there. They will drag you along on any issue for months and barely get it solved after months of problems. This property is also a property that offers low income housing which is really impressive considering the location and some of the amenities. All around I would say that keeping this as an option is a good idea, but I would also keep researching for better and more affordable options.
