Don't Live Here!
If you like paying way more than what the apartment is worth just because of the location, then Park Place is still not worth it! Cheap structurally apartments along with ulgy/dingy hallways. If you are one of the “lucky ones’, you get to share the building with drug/alcohol rehab apartments with people consistently walking in & out of the building with some very shady looking people... don’t forget to lock your paper thin door. Enjoy hearing everyone talk in your building no matter where you... stand. You can reminisce on when you were in an airplane bathroom by simply standing in a Park Place bathroom. God forbid you owe over $100.01 by the 10th, you can enjoy a court eviction notice that is given to you by a “friendly” individual knocking on your paper thin door at 7 in the morning which will cost you an additional $150.00. On top of that, get charged a late fee on the 2nd then another on the 5th so it makes it very difficult to get caught up... McKinley Properties doesn’t care what reason you’re behind, they just want their money and then they’ll refuse to renew your lease and let some other sucker move right on in. If you don’t have to live in Ann Arbor, don’t! It’s turning into a mini San Francisco and it’s not as cool as it use to be. All the cool little stores that used to be in downtown are gone and have been replaced with CVS, Wal-greens (literally a few stores down from each other), 7-11, Five Guy burgers... I could live in Canton and have the same stores that are now occupying Downtown Ann Arbor.

be careful
Forrest Knoll are decent apartments. The people in the office are my biggest problem. There rude at times. If your looking for housing for a long period of time. They are not for you. It's quiet on the street I stay on. There pretty quick on getting things fixed around there. I am so ready to move already!

Park Place Apartments
Park Place is in a great location, just 2 miles from downtown Ann Arbor. I love the family-friendly, clean, quiet, and smoke-free environment... unfortunately it is priced accordingly. The newly renovated pool has been a blast this summer! My only concern is our maintenance crew; we get quick-fixes can't seem to get anything repaired long-term.

Price Relative to Condition
This community was constructed before the 1970's and the Apartment composition reflects the era. With thin walls and little sound proofing, I often find myself listening to first-person shooter games or other nocturnal habits of my neighbors. Although the pet-friendly nature and leasing specials offered are worth mentioning. All-in-all a fair community.
