Silverside Management

I have lived happily at river ridge apartments for over 2 years now. Never had an issue with the old management not even once. Ever since silverside management has taken over I’ve experienced rude attitudes, thoughtless service, and issues with my rent and utilities. If your considering dealing with Siverside management think again.

Nothing exciting to write about.

Same ole over priced apartments and townhouses. Management that doesn't care and doesn't answer the phone. Too busy with her other jobs, leave a message and she will get back to you in a day or two, maybe. The maintenance man does a great job and deserves a raise for what he does, but he is stretched too thin.

Mistake

I'm not the one to complain, but this apartment made it really worth it for me too. First of all, within the first few days of being there, I was pretty badly burned and couldn't even lay on my back that night because of how hot the water was( 178 degrees). When I emailed the office(Kim) I was told that no one else complains so oh well. I decided to tell my dad about it since he's been a plumber for 20 years and he went and talked to the maintenance guy and he said that the apartment complex... couldn't afford to put them in. If you love turning the shower handle ever so slightly too make the shower warmer and then getting scolded, and then turning the water ever so slightly to the cold side to stop the scolding and then getting froze, then this is the place for you. Every time you bring up a complaint, you will hear that no one else is complaining about it. If I'm bringing up the complaint then I AM someone. We are currently breaking the lease because of myself and my girlfriend currently being scared of our shower basically, and are glad wge are leaving after only 5 months of our lease. We have to pay over $1200 to get out of this lease but it is well worth it to me to get out of this shitty place. Since my new apartment had to call my old one to ask how we were, they found out that we were moving next door, and told my dad how we are going to hate it there just as much. She then went to talk to my dad about how she has a friend in the apartment that lives here and said that we apparently told them other reasons why we were moving out besides the water. That was very interesting thing to hear because we didn't actually tell anyone any reasons other then Kim herself. So that, in fact, was a lie. There is only one maintenance guy which I'm assuming is because of the lack of money they have, but they are really really lucky that he at least knows how to work and knows how to get things done. Really professional Kim, awesome job. We did everything right to break this lease and she did mention it to us that we could sublease this apartment out instead of breaking it, but I don't know of anyone that I would ever want to possibly recommend to sub lease the apartment that we had because of the things that I had to go through. If you value your family, value your shower time, value your skin, just don't move here. It was one of my worst mistakes I ever made.

River Ridge

The best apartment complex I've ever lived in. The manager, Dawn, is phenomenal.
