At first everything was fine, I had moved in June of 2021 and there were no problems. As time went on I noticed when things need to be fixed they weren’t because the front office is ran by children. There are no office managers available when you need to talk to someone. They shut down the trash shoot so we could have a trash valet service but then they would charge you if you have too much trash (btw there are 4 people in the apartment) or left it out to late. I just moved out in August and... they took $125 of my $200 deposit for “cleaning and repainting” but my room and area was spotless when I left. Just know they will charge you for unnecessary things and then when you need something fixed they won’t come and will ignore you.

As stated in other reviews we were also told if we paid in full we would have first pick of the room so we did. She was in a 4x4 and was supposed to be in room A or D. When she received her rooming she was C the exact room she didn’t want. That’s why we paid in full. They refused to change it. There’s nothing that they can do. Basically telling me that the girl who signed the lease was not correct with the information. Then it’s the end of the year and they tried telling us we had a remaining... balance?? Excuse me? After you lied to get my payment in full now I owe money? This place is a joke.

Well I know it is just another negative review and it is not going to make much difference, but last May my son & I went down early and signed a lease, we made sure to go early and ask for an End unit A or D, we made sure to put it on the application first line (4 X 4 A or D). Since my son sits on his computer most of the day, it is a quieter room. Well he just got assigned to Unit C which is the door of the room is 6" away from the TV in the living room, the bed blocks part of the bathroom... door, the room is so small that he may have issue to fit his desktop next to the desk. The sad part that only one of his roommates requested the end unit, but of course the management will do the minimum they can to assign these units. Now we tried to ask to reassign him to an end unit, they said when the list comes out they can't change it. Well I would say if they did their homework and read their application and paperwork we would not have been in this situation, the manager said we did not request the end Unit, makes me wonder which application they are looking at. The fact that was our highlight of the discussion with their untrained Rep and we were directed where to put our request by their employee. After you signed your Contract, they could care less to try to help you, because they already got you. Now you either have to break the lease and pay thousands of dollars till they fill up the hall dorm or live with their effortless decision. They are not willing to make any effort to correct their own mistake, although he promised but after reading the rest of the reviews, I doubt it. The attitude is completely different after the lease is signed. I did read all the negative reviews, but my son insisted on living at the Dorm. I am sure he will be very sorry, he is going to the U of M for the next three years, but I am sure he won’t staying at your dorm after this year.

Idk even where to start. Issues pile up faster than management can address them, which is understandable. It just feels like a lot of money for what you get, which is a bedroom the size of a prison cell.
