I really liked this apartment when I first moved in. It's spacious, affordable, and the office staff is very nice. But then I had my first run in with maintenance. We told them our toilet was bubbling and water was coming up from the bathtub about 6 months of having lived here. One of them came over, and because it wasn't bubbling while he was there he said it was probably fine and then just left. Lo and behold a month later it starts doing it again. And this time when maintenance shows up I go... to show the bathroom only to find it flooded with sewage. The next door neighbor had the same thing happen as well that day. After an actual plumber came to fix it and someone extracted the extra water we were informed that us, the tenants, had to clean up the remaining sewage and god knows what else was covering out entire bathroom. All of our towels had to be disposed of, our bathroom mat had to be tossed, our toilet bowl brush and plunger as well. We spent probably a good 4 hours trying to clean it all and couldn't get everything off. I really want to give this place a good rating. I've even recommended friend's apply here when they were looking for a space to live. But now I'm not so sure. All of this could have been prevented if our first call to maintenance had been taken seriously. The only reason we are going to renew our lease is because we can't afford to move. Just consider this if you are looking for a place to live.
