Love it

Maintenance is punctual, Carol is professional but strict inwhich I believe for good reasons. She has to managea huge property and she wants everyone to be safe. I love it's centrally located, my kids play in the pool every summer its clean and safe and its close whenever the weather is not safe. We will be homeowners so, butif we wasn't we would stay another year. The complex is diverse, its clean the grass is always cut. My only concern is how icy the property gets due to it needing to be... repaved. Carol believes in keep tenants safe at all cost. So you are causing trouble she will address the situation. She always en ourages neighbors to be respectful one another, and to tall about issues. I love it her, I have always been able to talk with Carol. She's strong, strict but fair.

Worst Choice

The Landlord is manipulative and the rent that the management charges is not worth the apartments that they rent out to people.
The landlord has overly strict rules and is very diloyal to tenants I highly suggest anyone who wants to move to turtle creek apartments think twice before u do it

Property Manager at Turtle Creek Apartments responded to this review

I am Carol Ferguson, the Property Manager of Turtle Creek Apartments. I am proud to say I am the Property Manager because we have a modest goal: to ensure everyone that moves in has a safe and healthy home.

My crew and I take much pride in our...
work, unfortunately, some people move-out leaving an apartment that needs an overhaul.

So, please when you move-in, complete the move-in worksheet and return it with-in 7 days of moving in. If the move-in worksheet is not returned timely, then person(s) is charged for all damages at move-out.

Now, to say I have strict rules, just like anywhere else... we do not accept poor behavior and encourage respect with all. If you break the bathroom door in 1/2, well then, you will pay for it. If you think your boyfriend can just move-in without criminal background check, you are wrong, I may not be able to evict him (as he is not on lease), however; I can and will evict leaseholder.

This community has person(s) from all over the world, most especially children...no, children are not allowed to play under carports or in the street.

So, I ask at lease signing if you don't agree with rules, there is no need to move-in. The lease also has an option for you to take lease to attorney of your choice prior to signing it. We always recommend it's your choice, we can hold it for 24-48 hours so you may consult with attorney.

Here is the best part, I don't go looking for violators, it just lands in my lap.

Please enjoy your day!

DO NOT MOVE HERE

Since we've moved in late last year , My apartment/basement FLOODS at least TWICE a month! They have an excuse for everything and is not reliable nor honest when it comes to maintenance issues. The management here is very poor and disloyal to tenants

poor management!!!! stay away!!

Ok where should i start this property is owned by a man name van. Since the first day i moved ive had nothing but issues an poor management. After going the property manager about my issues she (carol) took her time responding to my urgent requests! I had to call the owner (van) he called her an things started to get better. My heat went out on a saturday i called the emergency line they were unable to fix it at 40° temp outside my apartment was FREEZING they left me a heater untill they were... able to fix it. I Come home tuesday to someone in my house dirty on my couch trying to fix the heat. No one called me he stated it was a emergency at 70° outside. I changed my locks late sunday because my purse was stolen along with my house key. Meaning they broke into my apartment. Carol was the most unprofessional person i have ever met. Because she was upset that i told her they broke in she decides to HARASS me by putting warnings on my door about my new truck under my car port that was not registered. An the owner explains to my family how he KNOWS shes going to retaliate. This place is the most unprofessional bug infested place i have ever seen!! BEWARE !!"

Property Manager at Turtle Creek Apartments responded to this review

Hi, this is Carol Ferguson, Property Manager for Turtle Creek Apartments. We do have a goal: to ensure everyone that moves in has a safe and healthy apartment.

Now, that being said, we have two rows of townhouses that do flood from time to time. ...
I do advise this is an issue when showing a unit from one or the other.

The primary reason the basements flood is someone pours grease down the drain, or items that don't belong in the drain...then we have flooding in basements. As preventative measure, we do have monthly cleanouts but the grease creates such heartache and grief.

It would be so simple if people just did not put grease down the drain. We do have a list of items that do not go in sinks and toilets. It would save much grief, if only one would follow the "rules".

Thanking you for your comment....
