Pros:
1. Square footage
2. Garage
3. Pretty quiet neighborhood
4. You can text/call maintenance whenever
5. Dog friendly
6. Newer complex
7. Kari is pretty great!
8. Woodsy area
Cons:
1. Sprinkler system is weird. Sometimes water hits the doors/porches, so if you're on the lower level, that sucks. Also, the whole place isn't watered at the same time. Certain areas are watered at a time. So it's hard to plan to walk your dog around it without the sprinklers turning on and scaring you mid-walk.
2... . People don't often clean up after their dog which is SUPER gross and annoying.
3. The cement company the property is near is pretty loud at times if you're outside. I don't hear it that much inside, though (if the windows are closed).
4. Woodsy area - LOTS of bugs!
5. For the price you're paying, some things are outdated, like appliances for example. I also expected the pantry/closets to be nicer than they are. They contain 'wire' shelving which bows when you add the slightest weight to it. Also looks like a lot of peoples screens are ripped/have holes. Not sure if that's something maintenance would take care of if you complained about it.
6. Not every unit has screen doors in addition to the front door. I also don't know if this is something you could bring up to install. You might have to pay for it yourself, though!
Someone complained that you can hear your neighbors, but they must have loud neighbors or something. I rarely hear my neighbors and if I do, it isn't a big deal. But at the same time, it is an apartment complex. Of course you're going to hear SOMETHING considering you're sharing walls!

Just moved in and cant get anything fixed despite calling office staff for weeks. Walls too thin and you can hear everything your neighbors do.

I have lived in Ashford Crossings for 3 years. It’s the perfect place to call home. These 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartments are gorgeous with 9’ ceilings, fireplaces, all GE appliances, laundry tub, and a water hookup in garage, to name a few of the amenities. The huge walk-in closets have room for everything. I think the garage is one of the features I appreciate the most living in Michigan. At the front of the complex is the beautiful pool and hot tub, perfect place to spend a hot, summer... afternoon. The neighborhood is very quiet and close to nature. I have met wonderful neighbors and made many great friends. The maintenance crew is prompt, friendly, and efficient. My special thanks to Kari for making my move here from Florida such a pleasant experience.

Pros - Very nice grounds and the apartments are all fairly new so in really good shape. Every unit has a garage with a water spigot and power, which is really nice. Price is pretty good for what you get. They are expensive but the units are very nice and compared to what you can get in a house rental in the area they are quite competitive.
Cons - Parking isn't great. A lot people park on the road and do so with bigger SUVs and trucks. This sometimes makes navigating the complex a bit... frustrating, as the roads are not wide enough. Sprinklers shoot on to the roads, this is fairly annoying as you have to dodge the spray, given the parking situation that can also be quite troublesome. Granted, if you don't care about water spots on your car it's not an issue. Also recommend staying away from the building that is furthest to the east. There is a gravel company about 200 feet from the building that makes a lot of noise 7AM to 7PM M-Sat.
