Smoke detectors has not been replaced since 2014 and is beeping every 10 seconds. I go to the office (as no one has answered or returned my phone calls for the past ten days) after taking time off of work to do so and give them the non working detectors, she proceeds to throw it in the trash and tells me that they do not have anymore. I ask if she can wipe off the one I bring to her so at least I have something until the figure it out. She then proceeds to go into the bathroom and rinse it off... in water. Worst staff. Worst maintenance. Don't answer. Apartments are crap . For the money they charge to rent they need to update apartments. Don't vet renters. Building smells of weed . Barking dog day and night . Hallways smell. Outside noises sound like there in the apartments. Upstairs renters stomp makes to much noise. Office don't answer DON'T care . Lease up soon already found better cheaper.

I have lived at Sutton Place for almost 4 years. I would not recommend this complex to anyone. DO NOT expect any calls/emails/communication back from anyone. I received two final statements after move out. The first statement was giving my deposit back, i received another one a week later stating I am being charged $500 to re-glaze the bathtub when it was in poor condition when we moved in and the paint chipping is just normal wear and tear from cleaning the tub. Am i not supposed to shower or... clean the tub because you glazed the tub with cheap paint?
My roommate and I went without a dryer for 7 months because we couldn't get ahold of anyone to come fix it. We tried maintenance requests, emails, calling, webchats, etc. When they finally came out to fix it, they didn't actual fix it, it took them 3 other times to come out and finally just gave us a new dryer.
The pool and gym have never been opened, there is trash everywhere in the front, the gate to get in has been broken more times than I can count because people just drive through them, the front door to the apartment building has been broken all 4 years. This apartment is the worst. I had an apartment for over a year and they never responded on my service requests, I never had cabinet doors, heat and air did not work, electrical only worked on half the unit, had mice and the garage was dysfunctional. I spoke with the Assistant Manager 2 weeks ago to try to at least get the electricity fixed and she volunteered to let me out my lease early with no penalty. My lease was ending May 2024 and the move out day we agreed to was Feb 1 2024. I moved out... and received an email stating I owe $5,500 dollars consisting on Feb rent and early termination fees. She informed me the Regional Manager is not honoring the agreement and charging me early termination and multiple other fees. I went the first time 10/22 and was able to see the apartment due to a cancellation. I had another scheduled appt 11/5 for 2pm and no one was at my scheduled appt, I arrived early and waiting from 128pm to 230pm and no one showed up so I could view the townhome.
