Me and mu husband lived at Granite Manor for 3 years and we are glad to be done! I would not recommend this place to anybody! Our move in and especially our move out process with the DW Jones Company has been horrible! Getting a hold of anybody for anything is impossible. We were told that 3 different people were in charge of the building and we left messages and emails trying to ask questions about the move out process and let them know the unit was vacant and we were ready for a walk through.... During this time of trying to get a hold of somebody we also had the unit professionally cleaned since we wanted to guarantee we got out security deposit back. When we finally heard a response it was from a do not reply email telling us to just leave the keys on the counter since they have had somebody waiting to move in but still would need to pay our rent. We of course tried again reaching out with no luck. We left multiple messages stating we would not be turning in our keys before out walk through was complete. We were then told they usually don't do walk puts and if anything was wrong we would just receive a bill in the mail. We finally got them to agree to do a walk through with us. Needless to say for the high price you pay it is not worth it. and good luck getting ahold of anybody. Even the emergency number we tried calling when there was a major incident with the building over a summer weekend was out of service. Its obvious this company does not care about it tenants and only a paycheck.

Horrible management
They will nickel and dime you to death on everything. I put in my notice to vacate 62 days before my lease was up and they said it wasn't enough notice and charged me for an extra month even though my apartment had been empty and available for showing almost the whole time. They claimed that many of the issues with the apartment happened while I lived there even though I had mentioned the issues before Moving in. My air conditioning quit working and they told me to just close my curtains and... turn it up. It took a month of roasting on the top floor before they finally spent a couple hundred dollars at Menards for a new window air conditioner. I have never seen a place so cheap. They can't even spare a few bucks for new mulch in the landscaping and it's just bare plastic now. There are holes in the carpet in the halls that are duct taped and the gym equipment is all worn out and unsafe. I call email and text the management and can't even get a reply. If you are looking at an apartment here don't walk away RUN!!!
