Been here about 2 months now

I moved here from Oregon for work. I started looking online for places to live as I knew that I'd be relocating to the area. I came to find that getting in touch with people online was difficult. Moonraker was quick to respond and answered all my questions.

Now that I've been here about 2 months, I can say that I'm pretty happy with my choice. Moving across the country, and into an apartment I hadn't seen in a town I didn't know was a little terrifying.
The Management and office staff have...
been great. They remember my name and are very friendly. I've put in a couple of maintenance requests for small things that have been taken care of fairly quickly and without any hassle on my part. They even let you put the requests in online!

Having the heating bill paid for was very foreign to me as this just isn't something that is done in Oregon. I was worried that it would be a furnace that I had little or no control over, but I have full control of the heat with hot water baseboard heaters which work great.

The apartment itself is pretty spacious. I am in a 1 bedroom and it's quite a bit of space for myself. There is actually quite a bit of closet space, with one by the door, one in the hallway for bathroom linens and the closet in the bedroom. Shortly after moving in they installed new cabinets and counter tops which are great.
The buildings have elevators which was a life saver since I'm on the 3rd floor.

We just got a decent amount of snow and they've been keeping the sidwalks clear every day. The parking lots were just plowed as well. They did give us a warning that we wouldn't be able to park on certain lots on certain days so they could clear this out. They did this during normal working hours which was nice, as most people (certainly not all) wouldn't actually be home to worry about this anyway.
