I have literally never had a worse experience with property management than I have living here. I have lived here 3 and a half years and over that span of time we have had about 4-5 different property mangers. All of which were fine until this recent one Shannon. She has 0 communication. We were towed along with 6 other people around 4 months ago and it wasn't our fault, she never handed out the new parking stickers that the tow company gave her. So not only were me and my boyfriend BOTH late to... work, my boyfriend had to find a ride home from work and we had to drive all the way to Shafer, MN to get his car the next day. My boyfriend called her that day and she actually answered (shocker) and said we needed to wait a bit to be reimbursed because she needed to talk to higher management about it. I called her, left voice messages and wrote letters to her constantly (along with a letter each time we paid rent) and still haven't heard back. Around 3 weeks ago my mailbox was jammed and I couldn't get into it. I called her to ask for help because mail is important and bills need to be paid. I still haven't heard back. I have also made calls to Halverson and Blaiser Group who owns the building and I haven't heard back. Today I jammed my key in it and forced it open almost breaking my key because I was so frustrated and inside was a letter from the post office that our mailbox was full and that they sent our mail back to the post office and we only had 10 days to claim it before it would be sent back to sender. Of course that time now is expired and all of our mail is gone. I am beyond frustrated. Luckily, we are moving out on March 31st. I am a very nice, level headed, and patient person but this is just ridiculous. I just wanted to give a fair warning to anyone looking to move in here that it is not worth it. Quite a few people have been moving out because of lack of communication with her as well. Find somewhere else to call home, because "home" shouldn't bring you this much stress.
