Unsafe and poor management

Very unhappy with this apartments parking situation. The surface parking lot (which you have to pay for monthly) is a block away, across the railroad tracks and out of view from the apartments. On top of it being a hassle to carry things into your apartment and walking in the cold, it’s also unsafe. My car was broken into and almost stolen 3 times while living here. They have no cameras in the lot outside and people leave the gate open constantly. Recently the gate looked like it was ripped off... altogether. The garage they have has limited parking spots (about 40) so there is no guarantee you will get a spot inside if you move here. If you park in the alleyway because you don’t want your car broken into you will be towed. I can’t have company over because i’m afraid that their car will be damaged because there is no where to safely park. Management makes it clear they are not liable for your safety here, they will not show you footage if something happens to you or your property.

Unsafe and bad management

My car was broken into 3 times, each time the busted my passenger window. Management makes it clear that they are not liable for your safety or property damage. The only safety measures are locked doors that frequently get left open and security cameras. They will not let you review footage if something happens to you or your property. It is relatively easy to get in by waiting for someone to leave or let you in or coming in through the garage.
Parking options are in the surface lot that is a...
block away and out of view of the apartments( has no cameras), in the garage that has limited spaces (around 40-50) or 4-5 blocks away on the street. You will get towed if you park in the alley, possibly even if just touring the place. There are loud trains that run through the night in the front and back of the building that you can hear from your apartment. The amenities are basic- a large rectangle on the roof for dogs to pee, a dog wash, a small gym and a barely working coffee machine. Management changes frequently and don’t answer calls.
