This is a very mediocre apartment. Bikes are frequently stolen, and cars are frequently rummaged through. On the surface, the apartment looks decent but it's clear it was made out of cheap materials. For the price, it is not hard to find a better apartment. The location is not bad in general but people often speed down 4th Street at all hours of the day making driving/parking, walking, and biking stressful tasks.

Poorly managed
Had texted an agent to set up an apartment showing for an available unit. I ended up showing up to the scheduled appointment and then a separate agent who was supposed to show the building cancelled on my roommate and I. When I expressed dismay and asked to reschedule, the agent said they didn't even have that unit available in the first place. Previous to the scheduled showing, I had left work early and travelled 30 minutes in a blizzard to see this unit so I was extremely disappointed. On top... of this horrid experience, I keep getting texts and emails to leave a review and fill out an application...... Here's your review, but I'm definitely not filling out an application.

I can't say enough good things!
I've been living here for almost 3 months and I absolutely love it! The open floor plan and high ceilings make this tiny space feel huge. It never feels cramped when I have people over. My lofted sleeping area is so cozy and I quickly got used to the steep staircase leading up to it. You can tell that that every fixture in the kitchen and bathroom was designed and installed with care. I especially love my kitchen sink and the slam-proof cabinets throughout the apartment. The little details... make it feel like I'm living in luxury. I can never hear my neighbors while I'm inside my unit, but when I've run into fellow residents in the halls or the lobby, they've been really cool. The property management is attentive kind too. Finally, the neighborhood is wonderful: everything I need is within walking distance. There's also a bus stop right across the street, which takes me straight Downtown for work, Twins games, or nights out!
