Awesome apartments and management is the best I've ever worked with!
This was my first apartment rental in 25 years. Mark is beyond the best person to ever own/run an apartment building! He is beyond fair. He treated us so well. I can not thank him or his staff enough! We loved our apartment and the fellow tenants there. They had a Christmas Tree decorating party that was so fun! Such a feeling of family in this building. I miss Mark and the friends we made at 230 Oak Grove Street. I would move to this building again!

A good solid place
I am a long time resident and can recommend the Oak Grove Hotel as a decent place to live.
I stay because I have always found the place to be so centrally located that I can get anywhere in about 20 minutes, city or suburb. Parking is an issue but that is the nature of living in the city. You need to pay to park. I will say the snow removal for the building has so vastly improved I never worry that I cannot get out of a parking spot. And if I do have an issue, the building mgmt will come... and help.
The apts are old school, but are being updated with granite and new cabinets but still have that old time feel of space. The staff has always been quick in helping when there has been a problem: leaky faucet, clogged drain. The building is pretty quiet but any issue is dealt with promptly.
People are friendly, there are holiday parties in the lobby for anyone wishing to attend. People look out for their neighbors. People live here a long time so something must be done right here. If you're looking for yoga classes, dry cleaning, you"re on your own. There is a small grocery store next door If you're looking for a quiet, decent place to live check it out.

Great Place, Great Location
I have lived here for almost 5 years now. The apartments all have that great old time charm while still be clean and kept up. I very rarely ever hear my neighbors which is a huge perk living in the city. Huge updated laundry room is a big plus too. Great location with super easy access to public transportation. Close to the downtown area, eat street and most of the stadiums. Beautiful park just around the corner that hosts tons of fun events and a cute little convenience store right next door.... Great for those that don’t want a car, although off street parking is available. Everyone is super friendly and easy going with lots of dogs to pet in the lobby.

Affordable city living
I never thought I would be in one place so long. I’ve lived here for 20 years and it’s been great. The building is clean and safe. Management has been very accommodating and easy to work with. We love the neighborhood. It’s so easy to walk to most things. Most people know each other in the neighborhood. There is a nice feeling of community. It’s home.
