Overall, I have been happy with my experience here and would love to stay if only rent were more affordable. The location near the U of M campus is wildly convenient, the building is well maintained and cleaned well regularly, and the staff is relatively receptive and considerate (although response time from higher-ups can be disappointingly long). My only criticisms would be that staff are often not in the office during designated hours, and my maintenance request fulfillment has fluctuated... between being commendably fast and inconveniently slow. I am also frustrated by the gas billing policy: it is disappointing that it is not designated by unit consumption, but instead, we have to pay for others' use during the winter months even if we ourselves may not have used as much. That being said, this complex is an excellent place to live for renters who are not limited by cost and do not encounter incidents requiring considerable assistance from the management.

Very clean and good apartment. My main problem is that they take way too long to answer and follow up on maintenance requests. But otherwise the gym and lobby seems nice. in unit washing and dryer works well.

After the first couple weeks living here I have noticed how the apartment looks to be very cheaply made. Last night the door opened without using my fob which raises safety concerns. One of the treadmills broke while using it. Overpriced.

false advertising on their website
the website has false advertising, stating that parking is included in the base rent. When I asked the tour guide about this, they stated it was an extra $150 a month and they had brought it to managements attention around a month ago, but nothing has been changed. The fact that it has not been changed is a big red flag in my opinion. I highly suggest you update that information, as that could mean the difference of someone choosing to live in your building or having to look elsewhere due to... affordability.

The new management obviously cares more about the residents than the previous one. They set up a bunch of events to create communiy vibes. It's just the building itself is a bit too old.
