So disrespectful unbelievable management !!!
I moved in 3 months ago . I thought the apartment was nice and big . When I came to look at the place the apartment was nasty. The manager said it would be cleaned carpet replaced . The carpet was replaced but after moving in finding cat poop on baseboards I found cat poo in the pantry I scrubbed the floor with bleach vinegar . When I asked for the shelf's to be replaced she gave me a date that they would coming in no one showed up she gave me another date . No one showed up for the second time... !!!! Trying to get settled in take things out of the way no one came to do the work !!! Before I moved in I asked to move in a month later . She said No I'm not holding this apartment !!! So I ended up borrowing the money from my sister to pay for the apartment I was moving out of !!!! So I was very angry to move in to a nasty apartment. She asked if she should send in her cleaning crew I said No they did not clean it right the first time . I'm in and I don't need to be waiting on someone for them not to show up!!! Today today I had the maintenance man walk in my apartment to put on the air conditioner cover when weeks ago we got a notification maintenance man would be coming in on a certain date !!!! I was not dressed when this maintenance man came in !!! I outraged!!!! If this crap keeps up I will be contacting renters rights !!!!

Thanks for sharing this feedback. We’re sorry your first few months with us have not been as pleasant as we strive for with all of our residents. I understand your frustration and have addressed each of your concerns with site staff.
We pride... ourselves on keeping the buildings clean and well-maintained for our residents, including units at turnover. It is not standard for our cleaners to need to re-enter a unit after move-in and I’m sorry that had to be addressed in your case. I see that there were maintenance work orders for your unit that have since been closed out, and I understand you were caught off guard by our maintenance technician when he entered for the air conditioner cover, it was never our intention. Unfortunately, we were not able to complete all of the units on the first round so a second notice was posted for entry to complete the task at a later date.
Again, we’re sorry you aren’t having a more positive experience living at Silas Pointe Apartments and hope that we can turn that around.
If you have any other concerns, please contact me directly at ckelsey@mbgprop.com

Silas Pointe "last resort" apartments
The building is old along with all the wiring and pipes. I have lived here for 2 years and have had issues with the heat and lights due to the ancient wiring between all the units, and they are yet to update any of it so there continues to be issues, and they raise your rent every year with no reasoning why and no upgrades or maintenance work being done, where is all this extramoney going? There is 1 set of w/d on each floor for 8 apartments, needless to say it's a battle just to be able to pay... $2.50 per load to do laundry unless a machine is down then it will take atleast a week for it to be up and working again. The entire building smells like Marijuana all the time, nothing has ever been done about that. There isn't enough parking and a lot of people have to park on the street, not an issue until the parking ban is enforced by the north saint paul police from October until April. Bringing this to the managers attention she just says you can rent a garage otherwise sorry don't know what to tell you. If you are guaranteed 2 spots with your apartment and can't even park one of your vehicles in the lot how is this fair to people who actually pay to live here?... The Manager is on site but doesn't do anything unless it is convenient to her. If you need something done you have to contact the corporate office of the property management and wait for them to get back to you. Overall Silas Pointe is very outdated and pretty expensive for all the things you're promised and do not receive due to the lack of management and bad tenants they just keep adding.
