The De Tonty Street Apartments were built in 2017 in the beautiful Historic Shaw neighborhood very close to the Botanical Gardens! The community is conveniently located in the central corridor of the city and very close to the St. Louis University... campus. It is a three story garden style complex with modern architecture, and each unit was thoughtfully designed including the option to set up high speed fiber internet plans. In particular, the Two Bed / Two Bath units are ideal for roommates as the bedrooms are on the opposite sides of the apartments for privacy. Each apartment comes with in-unit washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, quartz countertops, central air, and a walk-in closet. Each of the rear units has its own balcony or patio. Wrapped inside of the attached gated parking lot, there is an enclosed dog park, especially conveniently for taking your pets out at night!
Utilities: All electric, no gas. Tenant pays for in-unit electric, and prorated water, sewer, and trash. Security Deposit: An amount equal to the first month's rent minus a $175 non-refundable administrative fee.
Parking: Attached gated lot. Each unit is assigned one spot in the lot for $35.00/month

I lived in a 1br apartment in this building 2020-2021 and was extremely happy with my stay. Despite the highway being nearby there was never any excessive noise and I had no problems with the apartment or the property. The neighborhood is wonderful and with the park nearby it is a great area to walk around in. Any questions were answered promptly and the staff provided flexible options and communication about my move-out.
