I lived at Parkwood Apartments for over 17 years before moving out of state to be closer to family. One of the things I enjoyed most was the peace and quiet. During the time I was a resident, I had several new neighbors, all of whom were very considerate. The location was perfect. Close to everything I needed without a lot of traffic. I had a great experience at this apartment. Leaving here was bitter sweet. If it wasn't for a job opportunity I'd still be there. They were really good about keeping me updated on what's happening with the apartment. The neighborhood was quiet, clean, and peaceful.

The management was the issue with my time being there!! The maintenance man and lady there were super sweet. Living there is worse than living in a college dorm. The manager keeps tabs of visitors, they change $50 each night a guest is there more than 2 days, and he leaves notes instead of talking to you. Look somewhere else, especially if you are young. There’s also a smoking fee and the manager is aggressive when complaints are made about other tenants. He gets negative/bad reviews removed... offline also. That alone should tell you to run. Parkwood is clean and quiet. The new office manager is great to work with, and maintenance is taken care of very quickly. The grounds are kept clean. The location is great with easy access to grocery/retail/interstate. Highly recommend.
