Pros: maintenance staff are awesome, great community of residents, convenient and pretty location, smoke free, nature, pool, nice dog park, nice quiet apartments. Carlos is a saint. Cons: Horrible “apartment manager” can be very cruel and irresponsible to the staff and residents, management/leasing office is understaffed and disorganized, no recycling, trash compactor is a health hazard, mail disappears, rent is skyrocketing (but quality is going down). Upper management really needs to get it... together.

Quiet & Cozy
I feel like apartment reviews are so harsh. If you're that picky and particular then buy a home. Despite the sky rocketing rent costs in the area, I've really enjoyed living here for the past 2.5 years. It is very quiet, people are respectful and maintenance is great about fixing any issues. They're also super nice. Fernando, the manager of the property, is lovely. I wish they advertised more community events. (They're good about posting on Facebook but not everyone has social media.) Overall, I... enjoy this place and plan on continuing to stay. It's also in a great location and within walking distance to a few shopping centers!

Would not recommend
We lived at the Lodge at Crossroads for a little over 3 years. We saw at least 3 changes in staff while there, we didn't know anyone who worked there long and they made no effort to build a sense of community. They'd be nice for lease sign-up but were often unfriendly, unhelpful and unavailable after we became tenants. We were over-billed for our last rent payment (by approximately double of what we owed) and then when they reviewed what they were refunding us (even though I have photos showing... the place was clean AND maintenance did a walk-thru telling us that all was well, we were declined a walk-thru appointment with the office when we went to their office to schedule anything with them) they charged for excessive, inaccurate amounts. Additional issues over the past 3 years: The fire dept came out at 2am because our fire alarm went off, waking us, due to the fact that the detectors were TEN years past due in being replaced (they only changed ours, none of our neighbors). I have pics of the mold that built up in our A/C that I had to beg to have fixed correctly - they refused to have a real a/c person come to get the mold out. There was black mold issues on the windows they advised was "normal" and our responsibility to take care of (they paint right over it). I have pics of trash that piles up VERY high at the trash compactor. The dog park is full of trash and holes (some covered by wood) and they never dis anything to make it decent. They allowed fire alarm sensors to go off for 2 months because they didn't want to pay for replacement parts. If you visit the place, ask any tenant about roaches (especially bad when it rains and when they do weekly yard work). They put down slate that is slippery that my mom, a guest and I all nearly slipped and fell on because they didn't want to spend on a safe cement walkway. They rented to corporate tenants who were not quiet, banged on our door in the middle of the night in a drunken stupor and in a threatening manner (the office then told us "but they're a nice guy" even though the police came and warned them to stop), and the flooring did not buffer sound between levels because they used insufficient sound barriers. Lastly, and the saddest part, the property manager had their disabled adult child living in an apartment on the floor below us, which was filthy on the outside and you could hear them scream at and hit the two young children while they lived there. Not a great experience
Unfortunately the apartments are not worth the rent cost, lots of upgrades needed that management doesn’t approve per maintenance staff. Office staff has terrible communication, don’t respond timely to emails or concerns and don’t answer the phone when they tell you to call instead (to avoid paper trail). Mostly college students that are allowed to leave garbage everywhere, make noise and smoke marijuana in the apartments so not family friendly. Maintenance complimented how great I kept the... apartment and no issues what’s so ever with his pre-check so high anxiety over office getting deposit back since several residents mentioned they are notorious for keeping our money. Many residents are going to the media about the issues at this location and have advised me to do so as well. Keeping fingers crossed they are human and realize we’re going through a pandemic and rely on our efforts at the compliancy of their multiple rules and requirements and met all of their needs.
