Amazing apartment

Weed and Elevators
The elevators are ALWAYS broken, specifically the leasing office one and the one in the back towards the dog park. I counted 25 times last week that I was unable to use them because of them being down. This is inconvenient when you live on a high floor and have an animal. I am forced to carry my 40-pound dog because she has to go so bad and walking down 7 flights of stairs isn’t an option some days. I’ve been personally stuck on these elevators 4 times; you get on and the doors shut but key fobs... don’t work and your forced to either pry doors open (the buttons don’t work) or you wait for somebody else to do the same thing and then you’re free.
My main Gripe is that this complex consistently smells like Weed. You need to take your drug use elsewhere. My parents come to visit on multiple occasions and make comments about how you can smell it in the Hallways (3rd Floors facing the University), can smell it in elevators and amenity areas. The property sends emails out about how this is a no smoking property, and the lease terms say no smoking anywhere. This is an everyday occurrence and quite frustrating
The Rooftop pool needs to be regulated. I mean ADULTS ONLY. I get extremely upset when I go after a long day and one family always (2 Parents, 2-3 Kids) proceeds to take up the entire pool by letting their kids run around and splash on both sides and playing with them. I am not against kids; I would just like to sit in the water with some alcohol and not having screaming kids and running parents splashing around me with pool floaties taking up all the space where I feel uncomfortable. This could easily be resolved by making the lower pool a family friendly pool and the rooftop pool an adult only area. I am also concerned about the pricing of reserving the rooftop area, my family has discussed how we could use that area for holidays or events but the price of $1200 for 4 HOURS IS ABSURD. That translates to $5 a Minute to use that area, its clearly not worth that much money for a couple hours event.
Trash here is also a problem, people are generally just dirty. They love to pile trash and boxes in common elevator waiting areas (3rd Floor.) Ive seen people shoving a whole furniture chair into the trash compactor rooms on each floor. Seriously that lazy where you can’t put it on the elevator and go down 3 floors. People also are incredibly lazy and just throw trash bags in trash rooms instead of literally opening the chute door and dropping it in.

Elevators and doors are broken constantly
I have lived here for a year now and I don’t think a week has gone by when the elevators have not been down. Last week 3/4 elevators were down on the same day. Right now I believe two of them are down. The doors in from the parking garages and onto the floors are also broken all the time, meaning your normally have to go an extremely roundabout way to get to your apartment. Sometimes I’ve been completely unable to get to my apartment because of the broken doors and elevators. The elevators have... also been breaking with people inside of them and they have had to pry the doors open themselves. Management doesn’t seem to care about these issues. For how much we are paying in rent you’d expect the basics of the building to be working but all management seems to care about is making as much money as possible.

Great building, but poorly managed
I’m a resident, I moved in recently. The building is fantastic, but it’s a poorly managed property. They keep losing my packages, it takes forever to get a response from the staff. A very disappointing service, thought the building itself is great
