I lived here for 6 months and could not get out fast enough! The trash compactor was out at least once a month, the water was out twice(for two days then three) and the neighborhood kids broke into cars twice(no exaggeration). The outsides look great, and I was given a new apartment which was very lovely, but the inconveniences were awful. I requested the shortest lease possible (I was buying a house) and though I told them frequently when asked that no, I did not want to extend, they charged... me extra (over $600) for not letting them know I was leaving in writing. They also charged me an extra $19 for Duke energy after Duke Energy said I had already paid in full (still not given an explanation). I did not receive my deposit back in full even though I left the apartment better than I got it (had photos to prove it). The parent company said they were going to look into it but never got back to me. The place looks very nice and the staff was very nice and professional, but they (the company) did all they could to get more money out of me. I paid every bit on time so that I would not be in the wrong, and went through the proper channels with my proof, but no answers. They don't even return calls.

Nice property with friendly staff
Very nice property, well maintained. Good policies on pet control to keep grounds clean. Friendly staff assisted at every step. So far extremely pleased.

Marquis of Carmel Valley
I have lived here for almost year, and I absolutely love this place! Not only is my apartment unique, spacy, and beautiful (brand new appliances), but the staff here is absolutely incredible. The office is a very comfortable and laid back place, and the girls there are very knowledgable and so friendly. The maintenance crew is also extremely friendly and willing to help out with any of your needs very promptly. Whenever a golf cart drives by expect a wave from one of the friendly staff members!... I couldn't say enough wonderful things about this place, especially since I previously lived somewhere where the experience was less than ideal. It's a great and affordable place to live and I plan on upgrading to a two bedroom at the end of my lease!

Quiet, safe, and homey
Been here just over one year and resigned my lease recently. Love it here! It's very quiet and we've never had any problems with crime at all. The apartments are spacious and nicely upgraded. The location is super convenient to Ballantyne without the higher cost of rent there! Management is always kind and courteous, and maintenance is always responsive within a day or two.
