DONT RENT HERE

Living at woodland hollow apartments has went down hill every since Evelyn has left. I moved in to these apartments spring of 2019 everything was fine after the pandemic happened the management team changed and it all went down hill from there. They never answer the office phone there is a automated voice that comes on which is annoying when you need something taken care of and they shut the leasing office down10-15mins early at times with no notification. When I was searching for... apartments one of the thing I was looking for was a pool, once the pool finally opened up the pool was only allowed to be used odd days of the week and was only open 9am-5pm which sucked for me because of the hours I work. The management team is quick to apply fees to your rent but never wants to take admit to mistakes they have made or make excuses when tables are turned. If you choose to stay here PLEASE keep ALL records of any transactions and any communication as the management team has a hard time keeping up with their files and will charge you additional fees if they can get by with it. I had a issue with roaches for a very long time and the management team hasn't done anything effective since I've told them about this issue and at night there are VERY LARGE Water bugs/ roaches that crawl outside I mean they are EVERYWHERE. These apartments are located in the back of Hidden Valley which has a really bad reputation any day of the week your bound to see proustite's lingering around. Woodland hollow also shuts off the water for long periods of time very often .The only upside to staying in the area is the train and the fact that I-85 , 77 and downtown are very close. Rent at your own risk !

Would not recommend

When I moved here all utilities were included in rent. internet and cable you have to pay an extra $50 even if you do not use it, it’s mandatory. The internet and cable are impossible to use because it’s very spotty. Water and trash were included and just recently all residents got a letter on their door saying water bill would be on us and trash would be an extra $10 a month. Because of them having spectrum as their tv provider they had it so residents could get a bundle package for cheaper... since community internet and cable don’t work well.. well they got rid of that special to cut costs on their end with no notice so to my surprise my cable bill went up $150. The office did not advise tenets of this and tried to be sneaky in doing so. Even tho we are all still paying the $50 for internet and cable. What else.. walls are thin there are bugs so be careful with that because of unsanitary neighbors. If you have a different option find one, because this isn’t it. You can rent for the same amount or cheaper and be treated much better. Not worth what they charge. Also... cutting so many corners to save themselves money and screwing the tenets over durning a pandemic says a lot about what matters to them most. Now with all that being said, the girls in the leasing office are very nice and obviously they don’t make the decisions for what is done. They are doing their job!! This review gets 2 stars just for them because if I had an option I would give 0 stars.

Good enough not to be bad

I have been living at Woodland Hollow for 6 years. This is about the 3rd property management group owning WHA. They now have parking restrictions so don't have guest over night for the holidays. Its not much trouble in the neighborhood. Police ride around often to make sure. When it comes to maintenance, the third request is the charm. Overall this is a good place to live, the office staff Ms Lopez, Ms Fernanda, and Ms Doreen do there best to make Woodland Hollow Apartments a great place to live... .

Great Experience

I recently visit the Woodland and found Doreen and the staff I met very professional. There are many undates to the property and everything was clean. The price was very reasonable from what I seen in my search. I am looking forward to calling Woodland my new home.
