These apartments are not as advertised, ours had very poor quality installations and appliances. The landlords were awful, they never got around to fixing anything. We lived there for a year, and we hated it. After the hurricane in 2019 the moisture caused mold in our cabinets, which we had to take care of ourselves because the landlords never did. Don’t be drawn in by the low price and DEFINITELY don’t move here.

Horrible!!
Ever since we have moved in we have had to deal with huge amounts of ants and roaches! It’s so annoying! The pest control they offer is subpar, the guy literally came in with a pest spray can and sprayed maybe 2 areas then left. We’ve put in a request for more pest control but they said we would have to deal with it on our own. The plumbing is ridiculously bad! The foundation of this place is horrible! Cracks and holes everywhere, it’s no wonder the place is crawling with ants and roaches.... Besides the fact that the poorly constructed doorways lead to humidity and rain seeping in from outside. The amount of bugs and the issues with construction are overwhelming, especially when you have two little ones at home. I don’t recommend this pest infested place.

Not the Best..
My husband and I moved into Brookview because it seems nice for the price, but living here has been awful. When we moved in there were roaches ALL OVER THE PLACE! We have had multiple infestations in the past couple months...roaches, huge spiders, fleas, ants, flies. The bugs are a definite downer, and having to try and always be on the look out for them is tiring. We have spent SO MUCH money on getting rid of them, we finally had to have the exterminator see to it, but they still aren't gone...... probably because the problem exists in more than just our unit.
But there are more problems than that... the summers in North Carolina are HOT, and the A/C doesn't blow well... or even AT ALL. I can be running the air (and running up the electricity bill) and it will still be 87 degrees in my unit. It has been hard for my husband and I to sleep at nice considering the heat.. we sweat ALL night. So we bought a fan, but it is not a huge help. We have had to air conditioner looked at, but it didn't help. It is still super hot inside... We can't open a window because there are wasp nests in between the window and the screen.
Speaking of windows... they are JUST holding onto the walls! WITH CAULKING. The window panes just pop out, too. We have had to glue some back into the window.
I don't know how you feel about mold... but when we moved in, my husband was wiping the refrigerator out, and he lifted up the plastic in the freezer, and there was MOLD! ALL OVER THE PLACE. Who knows how long it had been there??
The place wasn't cleaned either when we moved in. There was so much hair in the medicine cabinet, and even the previous tenant's I.D. The carpets filled up about 12 bags of dirt and dander. The cabinets were covered in old food and dust and filth.
Well, don't think this is your best bet for under $700. It's not. There ARE places out there with dishwashers and decent air conditioning, places that are a little better built and maintained.
