Where to begin…first, I will say I liked my apartment. The inside was nice and I was content living here. The maintenance staff was always responsive to any issues.
The bad: roaches, poorly maintained building. Smells like weed constantly. Two elevators and one breaks weekly fairly consistently. There was a day when both were out. Not convenient for those animals or humans who are not physically able to take stairs.
The really bad, the office staff. There are 1-2 decent people, but in general... they make constant threats to all tenants via e-mail making up fines they will charge rather than sending notice to the individuals they are actually addressing.
When it came time to move out, I was immediately sent how much I owe them and the basic math was wrong. I followed up and got different amounts which made more sense and was told I’d be receiving a move out packet with amounts and move out instructions.
Never received move out packet. Sent an email with simple questions such as, where & how should I remit final payment? No response. Where do I leave keys, no response. I call them trying to make payment and finally, after I’ve already moved out, emailed and called, I get the move out packet. Disorganized, Incompetent? I don’t know, maybe they do this to try and get more money. What I do know is, you should keep looking and avoid this place. Worst experience I’ve ever

Nice Area, Poor Management!
Middle of July and the AC unit went out. They are not able to provide a fix for at least another 4-5 days. In their mind it is acceptable to have a 1300 square foot apartment cooled with a single portable AC unit. With the unit running they found it acceptable living conditions to be a moderate 84 degrees(and still climbing). When they set the portable unit up they did not run the hot air return to the outside, it was just blowing back into the apartment. The return air was registering at 97... degrees. No condensation bucket was set up either, all the water was left to run all over the floor. The regional manager told me at the end that "I should be grateful, since it is the only portable unit they have, they did not need to offer it to me ". Hope no one else’s AC goes out because this is the only one they keep on hand.
