We are very happy here in Heartsease of Shallotte. This is our first experience in renting a home prior to this we have always owned our own home. The community is very pretty, and well kept, it is quiet, and our neighbors are very friendly. I'm the process of relocating from raleigh to the shallotte/calabash area. I went to look at several places in the area. after touring the homes and asking a bunch of questions, i realized how friendly and helpful Britney and Lerlene were at Heartsease at Shallotte (and how unresponsive and rude some are- many of these mgmt companies arent even in NC and have never seen the communities where they are renting). the places themselves are very nice and have all your ammenities. the pool area and... clubhouse are also first rate! another big plus is all your shopping needs are close by (some good bars and restaraunts as well)and you are a minute away from 17 and close to the beaches. its worth having a look if you are shopping a place in the area Read More

Being a brand new property, the improvements that have been made since I moved in in October, 2022 have been excellent. Being brand new cottages, there are nuisance items, but Britney and Lou handle these quickly and professionally. I love my large garage, I love my cottage, very spacious, and new. I plan to be here indefinitely because the amenities are great, the neighbors are friendly, and the staff is like family.
