We stayed with them for a year. At the end of out agreement, we deep cleaned the entire apartment, the place was spotless. The only problem was when they painted the apartment last they must have hired someone who knows nothing about painting because they painted the galvanized door frames, didn't tape off or prep anything, and had obvious paint problems in many areas. After we had moved out and had an the inspection, we were TOLD that everything was good and we would get out deposit back soon.... After many months we received a notice saying WE owed THEM money. My boyfriend and I moved into the Dakota East and West apartments less than a month ago, and have since been stolen from multiple times. While we were moving our stuff in, someone came into our apartment and took expensive shoes from us. Also, on two occasions since being here, multiple items of clothing have been stolen while doing laundry in the community laundry they provide. There are no working cameras in the building.
