Lead us on

Felt like they were leading us on for my son to get an apartment. Gave him requirements and he met those requirements, then they moved the goal post and made more. Got his hopes up on numerous occasions and then let him down. He needs help and a fresh start, has many people backing him up but it seems this company doesn't have empathy or compassion. They want as much money as they can get. We went to another company, process took 2.5 hours and he was approved instantly. Dakota real estate cares... more for profits than their tenants.

disappointing

the rent is cheap but the amenities promised to the residents are rarely in service, and it doesn't end there. I moved in two years ago and the fitness center's weight machine has been broken the entire time despite in that time a large tv being put in for the maintenance lady to watch on her break. the pool was unable to be used for nearly 4 months with no plans to fix it, there are people in the building who leave trash in the hallways, or close the fire doors and let their children run... rampant through the hallways at all hours of the night. the maintenance staff couldn't care less about the cleanliness of the building, and the parking lot is a flat tire waiting to happen. theres also problems with ants and bees that have made nest in the walls which I found after removing the light switch covers to paint. the apartments are drafty and only some of the apartments have had their windows and patio doors updated. theres constant problems with the hot water in the building. there's dog poop all over the property so you can't even enjoy the lawn or courtyard. theres been six fire alarms in a one month period and on average at least three every month I've lived here. and on top of all this, there is a lack of empathy from the new management and a lack of management from the new management besides passive aggressive notes left on the doors of the apartment building. I thought I was getting a good deal for this space. a pool, fitness room, and sauna, and competent management. but in reality the main reasons I moved in have become the biggest cons of living here. I do not recommend living here at the moment, hopefully someone reads this and fixes the issues at hand.

Cheap rent, smells terrible

The rent for this apartment is relatively cheap, but the hallways always smell like weed or really stinky food. When you decide to move out, they tell you in the beginning that they’ll give you 24 hours notice to show your apartment, but they don’t. And when you ask them to give you such notice, they refuse to do so. Overall it’s a cheap, but terrible place to live.

Good place to live

This is a great apartment. The community is a set of four apartment buildings. It is only a five minute walk to shopping, movies, and entertainment. There is a huge courtyard with a pool and lot of open space for the kids to run around.
