Luxury I Think NOT

If I could give zero stars I would as well. this place is a horrible experience,. i am sitting in a cold apartment right now typing and it is only OCT 10. Zero heat and I mean zero i have a 1-year lease and winter is REALLY coming so I guess I'm really screwed SMH. At night the apartments get so cold that The floors feel like ice. To be walking around the house with hoodies is crazy if i say so myself, this is an un-human like condition to live under

my apartment building is infested with...
roaches and mice  but HEY Luxury right :) The other reviews are Very accurate The water goes out in this building every month. Just walk into the building with a red notice from the town of EAST ORANGE saying the plumbing failed inspection what a joke, pull that off the front door don't want the people to know why their ZERO heat.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!  you have been warned

DONT DO IT!!!!

I’ve been living here for 6 months and I’ve never hated living anywhere the way I hate living here. The cost of the rent does not represent the quality of living that is provided. Firstly, the property manager does not tell the truth. For starters, the day I moved in, I found roaches in my kitchen. I asked the property manager about it and she said that the unit would be on a weekly extermination schedule. An exterminator never visited my apartment until I requested it. She also told me that my... tub was brand new. The tub is painted over but NOT brand new. I’ve had a mouse in my apartment. You would think that they would fill any holes that the found permanently but no, they just put steel wool in the holes.

The hot water that is included in the cost of the rent but it doesn’t get very hot at all, it’s warm at best. My first week living in the apartment I had to take three cold showers. At random, without warning, the water can be shut off altogether. The hallways and stairways are not kept clean.

The apartments are spacious and have loads of closet space but do do other well kept apartment buildings. PLEASE do yourself a favor. DO NOT rent here.

Interesting qualifications

I submitted the application, paid the fee and submitted all documents necessary. I work hard, make good money, have good credit, including no evictions. Was turned down by a building that allows someone to hang a sheet out the window. What is this world coming too?! Think they did me a favor. Amen

Don’t do it !!!!

The apartments are very cold!!!
I was informed from the management on sight that if the temperature in the apartments are above 70 degrees then the heat will not go on. I was also advised that in order for me and my children to be warm aka comfortable we would have to use a heater and pay a $150 and better light bill. Also At night the apartments get so cold that The floors feel like ice and you think at that point the heat will turn on, Absolutely not!!!!
I will stay until my lease is up...
because I’m sure to loose my deposit if I leave after only being here 6 months, but this is un human like conditions to live under. Not to mention there’s no hot water At least twice a week after 8 pm. So if your ok with living in an igloo then this is the spot for you.
