We've been here since 2009 and everyone from the office Staff to the Maintenance Crew who work the word orders efficiently. We live in the front of the entrance and our neighbors are very pleasant. It's a family friendly community and when packages are left by the UPS by the entrance in all the years we've been here nothing has been taken even though left in a common area. Behind the community within walking distance their is a park, track field, a little pond that people actually fish in, a... baseball field used by little league and for personal use. Additionally, their is a Quick Check and Wendy's with access is right through the metal fence behind our building.

It's a wonderful communiy but it has its cons as well...
I've lived here at Green Village for seven years!
Pros: -great community, very peaceful & quiet (can get rowdy at times during the summer/special events and/or holidays but, that is expected) -neighbors are very pleasant. I've haven't a problem with any of my neighbors. -the apartments are very spacious & the carpet is huge plus! -schools near the area (Flynn Elementary school just seconds away) -local shopping centers around the corner (Walmart, Dollar Tree, McDonald's, and other eateries... right down Pfeiffer Blvd -- easy access) -rent prices are reasonable, considering the high property taxes in NJ State. -free parking (although a lot of people are using handicapped parking to reserve spots) -For those who work in NY, all major roads & highways are right there in close proximity. For train riders, Perth Amboy/Woodbridge train stations are minutes drive from Green Village. -regular bedbug checks -- Green Village doesn't have an infestation, at least since I've been here for seven years. Just keep your apartment clean (vacuum regularly & keep things in order), and food in its proper place (not in your room lying around for weeks), and you won't have problem with bugs --but honestly, that's common sense.
Cons: -electricity not included in the rent. You have to pay that on your own. -the floors are super sensitive. Almost all of your footsteps can be hard by your neighbors. I would suggest to management to add extra padding on the floors. -make sure your rent is paid on time/at least 80-85% of it paid before the 15th of each month, or they'll process a eviction proceeding against you - which will cost you an extra $300 & stress you don't need) -the maintenance (although they are very helpful), could be bit more efficient at their job. Most of the time, it takes them a while before they respond to you. If you have a problem with your apartment, you have to keep persistent with the rental office to get things done.
Overall, my seven years at Green Village have been enjoyable. I haven't had a problem with anybody or in my apartment (outside of a minor leakage in the bathroom, which was fixed within a weeks time). The rent is one of the cheapest in the state. If you're looking for something affordable & within your budget, give Green Village a look. I hope this review helps & thank you to Green Village Management for the time here...just needed a change of scenery.

my first apartment
the leasing associate is the sweetest. maintenance people are nice but they almost never get their projects finished let alone started unless it will affect the structure f the building. rent went up every er and nothing special done to complex or my unit, and their pool is ry limited in terms of hours. I dont think it's worth it. especially because that new property manager is a real penny pincher.

My first apartment
Since looking for a place to live, the management at Green Village Apartments have been so kind and helpful to us. Each unit is completely cleaned before moving in and when we moved in everything was perfect! They have a large pool, with access included in the rent, and laundry rooms with new machines located in half of the communities buildings. Every major highway is within minutes and getting here is so easy. The biggest plus is that they are an animal friendly community. All the buildings... are calm and quiet and this is definitely a place I can live in for quite awhile.
