The Pond View Apartments at Weatherby are an absolute mess! There is a broken water main pipe that floods units that they have been trying to cover up for years. They are irresponsible and refuse to fix the problem. Tenants have to deal with the flooding, the damage, the inconvenience, they health issues of mold, dust and lime. Then they are told they can move out without management assuming any cost. this is a constant practice! They also price gauge the sewer charges to all tenants to... fill their pockets. Building is poorly built, management is even worse.

Noise Level and Parking an Issue
Get an upper floor level otherwise you will hear every single footstep above you. Also, you can hear conversations/music playing & TV in the other apartments. The main door to go in an out slammed so loudly it woke me every time. Parking can be an issue on the weekends more so than weekdays, but I still had many times where I couldn't find a spot when coming home from work on a Friday. Make sure you note every little thing wrong on the inspection sheet moving in day.

Everyone Smokes/Parking is Awful
Even though this is supposed to be a NON-SMOKING apartment complex it isn't. Everyone smokes, marijuana and cigarettes inside and in their garages and cars. Management doesn't do anything about it. Parking is horrible, never is a spot available and walking from the clubhouse to your apartment is ridiculous especially at night and if you have guests. The quality of people renting has decreased also, very noisy, no insulation between units either. Pool is small and 4 ft deep-attendants don't speak... English at all either. Small gym in clubhouse. Save your money avoid the misfits of town and rent elsewhere, we've been here 2 years, and when our lease is finished so are we with pondview.

Parking is awful
Yes, the apartments are beautiful and it's a great are to live but do not move here if you have guests or lease a non garage unit. Parking is abysmal. We chose a unit without of garage due to long wait for a garage unit. Big mistake. There is never any extra parking in the overflow or you must park by the clubhouse. The walk isn't bad if you do it every so often but it's been a consistent problem. Anytime we have guests, we have to move our car so they don't have to walk. People with garages... park in the extra spots. I've emailed the management but as I understand, there's not much they can do. I have a solution, for how much you pay, non garage units should get two assigned spots.

Noise Issues
We lived in 2 different units here for about a year. In both units our neighbors were inconsiderate and rude. We could hear conversations clear as day in our bathrooms and everything from a child practicing their flute in the apartment next to us and below and children running up and down the stairs and yelling at the same time every day after school. What parents allow that in an apartment building? Horrible parking situation with no spots for guests to ever visit and neighbors who drive very... aggressive and some with very loud exhausts. If you have neighbors that live above you and they have a baby be prepared to hear every single noise that baby makes including every toy dropping on the floor over and over and over at dinner time every single night. Neighbors above you who work night shift so when they are home they are up until all hours of the night even setting their smoke alarm off at 2am and then stomping around like a thunderstorm trying to find out how to shut it off. Neighbors who smoke in their apartments even when it's a non-smoking property. This is the worst place to live ever! Even living on the top floor we could hear every single noise below us-even on the 1st floor and we were on the 3rd! There must not be any insulation in the walls because there truly is no peace and quiet when you rent an apartment here. Yes, they are beautiful to look at and have lovely floor plans. But, that's it! The rent is as much as the cost of a mortgage and for this price you can get something much more private. Our electric bill was extremely high and when we moved into the 2nd unit our air conditioner was not working properly-so our first month was over $600 when it should have been around $175 according to the neighbors in comparable units on the same floor. Even after maintenance repaired our unit our electric bills were hundreds of dollars higher than the previous tenant had paid. Something is definitely wrong with the electric in the unit and the next renter will surely be surprised when they realize the cost involved for the electric bills for a faulty system. First it was the freon when we moved in when there should have been plenty in the unit -and then it was the evaporator coil months later. Bulbs were blowing out in fixtures on a daily basis. This, along with the sound of thunderous herds of animals every day beneath our feet and above our heads made it a happy day when we were finally able to leave Pond View at Weatherby.
