big dogs bark, day and night. so many time a day. Seems to live in the countryside and owners don't care. and Management is slow and doesn't keep promises. Poor for the price

Do not rent here!!!!!
I was forced to renew my lease way before it ended, with the stipulations of $100 more a month staring within a few days. After, signing my lease I found out that my mother in-law became ill with stage 3 breast cancer regarding my 5 month pregnant wife and 1year old daughter would relocate back East coast for the final moments with my mother in law. I then came back to management asking for a new ending terms on my lease 24 days after my lease was signed. I was then told the contract could not... be voided and I had to either stay in my apartment for a whole year or pay out two months rent and current rent. I not only won’t be able to attend the funeral nor be able to move with my family and newborns unless I come up with almost $4000 for a buy out. Nor even a month after I was forced to renew my lease. Life happens and people shouldn’t have to suffer more because of it.

Poor management
Failed to listen to my complaints, lied about entering my apartment without my consent. You need 24 hour notice in the state of Nevada, but they often don't follow this rule. They'll lie and say they put notices on your door when they haven't. You have my email and phone number, so obviously those are the realistic methods of contact. Such poor communication.
The new company that took over Avenue 5 is trashy. They're penny pinchers who just want your money. They'll nickel and dime you. They... have an F with the BBB. They refuse to respond to consumer complaints. My neighbor pointed that out to me and you can look it up for yourself. Thompson and Michie is their new company. Their apartments are small and overpriced for the area too.
The units are dirty. They get so much dust and grime and the crew doesn't care if you need help dealing with the poor air quality there. They're slow and impossible when replacing filters.
Their property manager Brianna is crazy. I genuinely believe she lacks empathy. Doesn't listen, is rude and treats people like an inconvenience to her. Doesn't know how to listen and will talk at you and yell over you instead of listening. This isn't the first complaint against her either. Upper management should listen. She'll yell and lie about policies to save face and continue to harass you, even when you're compliant. She was horrendous to me and my neighbors. Vindictive. I will warn people away from here, because of how inhumane she is.
I don't recommend you move here if you want to be treated with dignity and respect. It's dirty, overpriced and the company running them is horrendous. They're poorly managed and their staff is only concerned about getting your money. My friends have already moved and I'll be joining them once my lease is up.

Constantly changing rent prices
Ever since the new management took over they change our rent prices EVERY MONTH! Saying the utilities and amenities bills have changed. They're ripping people off!

Rent prices do not change monthly. A lease agreement is a legal binding lease and rent is locked in until the lease end date. Rates may change upon renewal of a lease depending on the market.
Our... utility prices did however change mid lease but in our resident's favor. Every apartment home now has lowered utility rates for water, trash, and sewer.
The review you left here does not have any facts and is completely untrue. The new ownership actually was able to help resident's in their favor by lowering the costs of utilities on-site.

Not pet friendly
This place was bought off by a company that is trying to do away with their original pet policy. It was great until Cinnamon LLC bought out Castile. If you have pets I don't suggest you move here, because they're trying to strong arm tenants with pets into leaving, even though they are advertised online as being pet friendly. They'll raise your rent without notice and if that doesn't deter you from moving they'll lie and say someone complained about you, so they can threaten you with eviction.... This place in a dog owner's hell. Management refuses to listen to the good people who rent here and try to work with them. Their manager Brianna is a COMPLETE JERK. She refuses to listen and yells at tenants. Don't waste your time and money here.
