prepare to pay a huge amount of fees

The property on top of your rent will charge you a cam fee, then a electric bill (on top of your regular power bill) a water bill, a trash bill, a gas bill (while the units don’t use any gas) it almost adds up to $200 extra in your rent each month. Then the laundry facilities are a joke, half of the machines never work and you yourself have to call the machine company to come fix it as the management doesn’t. They threatened you for every little thing and are extremely rude, I’m leaving as soon... as my lease is up, and my neighbor are also looking for a new place as well. avoid this place as much as possible.

Pictures shown are misleading

I have lived here for around 7 months so far, and just came upon this apartment.com page for the property. I am disappointed with the pictures here. The model unit I looked at doesn't compare to these pictures favorably and my actual unit... forget about it! Appliances are very old and weathered. I didn't even get a microwave. Living here has made me feel unsafe. Transients hang around the property. Some residents are loud and disrespectful. Doesn't feel at all like a welcoming neighborhood,... very slummy in my opinion. Topaz has gone through 2 property management changes since I signed my lease. Expect extra fees on top of your base rent and your utilities. I regret my decision to choose to live here, which is sad - there's so much potential with the property location and neighborhood.

Do not ever move to this complex!

DO NOT EVER MOVE TO THIS APARTMENTS!

Do yourself a favor a do not move ever to this complex. Roaches are infesting everywhere, they are all over the place. Counter and cabinets are slowly falling down leavin holes so the roaches can get into. We are exhausted of killing and cleaning roaches to the point that they also got into our bedroom. We are the cleanest people on earth but this kept and kept happening. Two pest control companies came but the roaches problem doesn’t goes away. We are tired...
of this place, and the unhealthy atmosphere that here lies. It has become unhabitable, to the point that we cannot even cook a proper meal. They show in their website a full render of how the “new” apartment would look like giving a “luxury” view but that is just a RENDER! Do not fall for that. Apartments are not that nice, or beautiful as the are trying to show. We can’t wait until our lease it’s done va use unfortunately we don’t have the enough money to end the lease right away to move move out to a better and healthy place. I can’t wait to leave this disgusting complex. Hope all the reviews of this place keeps going down until it reaches 0.

Cockroach infested

Don’t. The people on here talking about stolen money aren’t liars. In October of 2021 I was approved, signed a lease and moved in. Until signing the lease I wasn’t allowed to see my apartment. I was only allowed to see the model. When I went to the apartment there was a tag in the door says they it was sprayed and it wouldn’t be safe to enter until 6:30pm. That is fine. When I finally waited and entered my unit it was disgusting. Cockroaches crawled from cracks, drawers, drains, behind the... fridge. Their dead bodies littered the floor counters and carpet. Live cockroaches are their way through the carpet and dead ones were painted over lazily. I was horrified. My partner and I did your best to make it habitable, but they just kept coming. We finally gave up at 2AM where we slept in the car with our animals. In the morning, as soon as the office opened the we requested to move out. They said it would be about a MONTH to have the fees return because it would be arriving from corporate. We said whatever and stayed with family. Guess what we never got. My check of almost $2000 has STILL not been returned. When trying to contact corporate only one person would talk to me and even THAT PERSON couldn’t get ahold of her own superiors. I have contacted the regional manager multiple times on two different numbers, emailed numerous times and called more than I can even count. It’s disgusting how I’m being treated. So here I am posting reviews.
