Don't Trust the Model

I toured this apartment to move in back in 2021, and they said the room I wanted (2x2) wasn't available to tour because it was still under construction so they showed me a 1x1 model. It was stunning, and they assured me that the 2x2 apartment I wanted would be exactly the same as the one I was looking at with all new appliances. Since I was moving from out of state, I couldn't see the apartment at all before my move in date, and when I got the keys after signing my lease, I walked into a place... that looked like it has JUST been recently flipped, and they had done a very bad job at that. There was still debris EVERYWHERE, I'm talking plaster all over the counters and floor, nails and screws scattered in the carpet, and everything covered in construction dust. Everything was given the "landlord special" and they tried to cover up water damage with poorly done paint job. When we went back to the management office, they denied knowing why it was left like that, and said they can send cleaners over a few days later. The "cleaners" they sent was a staff member that simply vacuumed the carpet and then left. We also didn't have bathroom mirrors for over a month after we moved in. Due to the mess the apartment was in, I took pictures of absolutely EVERYTHING and made sure to upload all of them and email them a copy so there was an electronic record of it. When we moved out, they charged us for the dust on the fan in the dining room and the plates under the burners on the stove, but they were not able to charge us for all of their poorly done renovation.

Overall Cons:
- Poorly maintained laundry rooms (machines were always broken and the rooms were dirty and gross)
- Terrible maintenance (they rarely fixed anything)
- Management was sketchy
- The dumpsters were almost always full and would get rummaged through so they would be a mess. There was staff to clean it in the mornings but it would still be a mess and overflowing more often than not.

Overall Pros:
- The front office kept packages delivered to the mailboxes so they were safe
- There was (unassigned) covered parking, which was a blessing in Vegas heat.

Beware

Beware
I lived at this place for 2 years and let me tell you they are bad. First when I moved in my apartment had a bad roach problem that I had to get fixed myself. Also when I moved in they give you a check list and you fill out what was wrong, so when I moved out they charged me 20 per hole on the wall that I didnt make even though I put on the move in sheet that they "didnt have on file" and told me it was my responsibility to find it and turn it in. They the submit my account for collection...
the following day and even the collection agency said " oh we are sorry we can even take this cause it hasn't been 30 days " the total was 182 dollars for staineds that I wrote down on the move in sheet that they couldn't find and charged me for all the thing that I had requested to be fixed and never did. And when I brought these charges up and why I was being charge so much for holes that 1 I didnt make and 2 cost 20 dollar per hold. They replied that I need to provide the proof since the move in sheet was gone . So I contacted the Corp office where all they did was pass me to a recording were no one contacted me back... now after no contact they send it to collection and messed up my credit because of there own errors. Such a horrible way to go about things and the worst part is that all during the pandemic I payed my rent while other didnt and this is how the go about it to a tenant that didnt cause problems and payed on time every time. Shame on them for ripping me off and ruining my credit

Resident

I writing to provide a warning not to rent an apartment from Alpine Village Apartments
I live with my 88 year old mother who suffers from respiratory problems. We have been without Aircondioning for over a month and in spite of complaints, the management has failed to make the necessary repairs. We were told by employees that the A/C would not be repaired until the outdoor temperature reached near 100 degrees. The temperature frequently reached over 90 degrees in the apt.
I urge you to not...
rent an apartment from Alpine Village apartments in Las Vegas.

Very unprofessional

Unprofessional and they don't care about customer service cause they know people wouldn't find another apartment for cheaper then here so they don't need to be professional gaureente you go door to door asking about the apartment's and management everyone will say the same they have a playground there but it has been broken for a year or so kids can't play there. There maintenance are a joke and are like the managment unprofessional and lazy. We asked to do a couple things that would take no... more than 15-20 min to do and after a month it's still not done I can't tell you how many times the renters have to do stuff on there own because they won't do it. They lie and say that they never get your messages if you have to leave a voicemail and so much more so do yourself a favor and save the stress and find another apartment to rent cause this isn't an exaggeration it's all true!!
