I moved here right before starting a new job in Manhattan, and it was such a relief to find a place so close to the L train. My commute was less than 10 minutes, which is wild for NYC. The apartment was clean, and my roommates were all super laid-back. The only thing I wish was different was that the common areas were a bit bigger — it gets crowded sometimes. Williamsburg House Williamsburg House is in a great spot if you like the artsy vibe of Brooklyn. I’m from Chicago, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the location won me over. It’s right by the Bedford Ave L stop, which made getting into Manhattan quick and easy. The apartment, however, had its issues. It’s a bit cramped, and there was a problem with the A/C when I moved in, but once that got sorted out, things improved. I’d say it’s decent, but maybe a little overpriced for what you get.
