I have been a tenant at Graydon for 3 years now. Maintenance is the best. As soon as I call they respond that day or the next. The girls in the office are so nice too. My apartment is updated and I have great neighbors too! Never leaving!

Bad customer service
I was treated awfully by these people, I called the number on this site three times on three different days during business hours asking to look at one of the available apartments. A person took three separate messages from me saying they'd give to someone named Leslie so I could view the apartment available on the third day I got a call back saying they had nothing available anymore and was told they only received one of my messages and that I must of been calling after hours. They placed the... blame on me and basically blew me off. I am very appalled by this treatment and felt as though they did not want me to look at the apartment.

Great apartments!
I've lived at Graydon for almost 2 years and have never had a problem with this apartment complex until recently. Our apartment was in beautiful condition when we moved in and our maintenance service has been excellent the few times we've needed it. They were speedy in addressing our problems and resolving the situation. The area gets a little noisy during school hours because of the middle school located off the back of the parking lot but other than that, noise hasn't really been an issue.
My... only real complaints include the parking (which there isn't enough of) and the inaccessibility of the staff during the weekends.
As for the parking lot, each apartment has their designated spot they are assigned when they sign their rental agreement. Each resident parking spot has the number of their apartment which is good. This is beneficial if you only have one car. That way you never have to compete with others for a parking spot. The problem however is that most families don't own a single car. My apartment has two and for the buildings that use our parking lot, we have less then a dozen additional 'guest' parking spots. Most times this isn't an issue for the resident of the apartment. I can count on one hand the number of times I've been unable to find a parking spot but if you're a person who frequently has guests, they will undoubtedly have trouble finding guest parking. Especially during the weekends. People here are intensely possessive of their parking spots as well and often think they are entitled to a specific guest spot. That can cause quite the irritation.
As for office staff, they are available during the week but come Saturday or Sunday impossible to reach should you need them. I haven't had many causes to call them on the weekend, and they always respond first thing Monday, but those weekend days can wreck havoc when something goes wrong. Our most usual reason for calling is misplaced keys so to avoid needing them on weekends, we made additional keys.
You'll also noticed I gave noise an average rating. The walls can be thin and the wrong neighbor can be quite a noisy disturbance. I've only recently had a problem with this. My neighbors, for the most part, have been exceptionally nice and our building is mostly quiet. Everyone keeps to themselves except to exchange pleasantries when we see each other. I would say its a typical apartment in that aspect.
Overall, I love this apartment. It has a fantastic layout, the individual porch is a nice feature, and the secondary bathroom is a life saver. If you're looking for good quality with local management who take an active interest in the apartment, give Graydon a call.
