Regina the community manager was so helpful! I was ultimately unable to take the apartment do to personal reasons, but I was coming from out of state and Regina was kind enough to go take photos of the specific unit I was interested in as well as answer all of my questions. She really went the extra mile to help me out and I truly fell in love with the place I was soon to call my home. If I ever end up moving out that way I would absolutely suggest Anthos at Kirkwood!

Anthos Kirkwood
Pros:I enjoyed my time living at Anthos Kirkwood for the past 2 years. The new manager came in around August and made a big difference. Very knowledgeable and his door was open to hear all of our concerns within reason. Maintenance crew has improved by responding to our issues faster and they try to work around our schedule. Using our tenant portal for paying rent was great as well. I was able to open the app from anywhere and pay the rent
Cons: Their corporate office are not very knowledgeable... . They come around every couple of weeks and look at things to fix but nothing gets resolved, for example, keep paving the same pot holes every year rather doing it right the first time. Outside lighting was an issue in the past but was resolved with the current manager. All hallways was in a desperate need to be painted but was completed prior to my move out. They don't have enough maintenance techs to fix all the issues and I understand the manager was trying to prioritize the maintenance calls. The past manager put in tenants that were smoking illegally and didn't care, She didn't want to hear it and do anything about till the new manager kicked them out.
For anyone looking to rent. If the property manager doesn't care for your concerns or the safety and security of the property then move on to the next place.

Wonderful and Peaceful Community
Myself and family has lived here in Antho's Apartments almost 4 years and find it to be a great community. Whenever issues arise management is always quick to make sure it is handled in a timely fashion. Rich is very humble, down to earth, and is an amazing manager that truly cares about the safety and security of his tenants. If you are looking for a clean safe community, Antho's Apartments in Kirkwood Ny is definitely worth looking info.

More Cons Than Pros
Proceed with caution.
Pros: Allow cats and dogs, has air conditioning.
Cons: Basement (garden view) apartments are mildewy & rampant with mice and silverfish. Questionable neighbors. Saw dozens of cars coming & going, & a cop I dated recognized a known drug dealer (who was just out of jail) in my building. Utility boxes aren't caged, therefore anyone can turn yours off if they're mad at you. Maintenance crew went into my apt, even though I asked them not to, and my Mucinex was missing when I... got home. Landlord laughed at my accusation (her son worked maintenance while I was there). Landlord also rented to a couple who tried kicking in my windows, probably because I complained about their noise. When I called the cops and followed up with my landlord, she said 'Yeah, he caused problems at his last apartment here but I thought it was the neighbor. Guess it's him.'
I'd only live here if I were forced to. Good luck.

Property Manager at Anthos at Kirkwood responded to this review
First I would like to apologize for the issues that transpired during your tenancy here in Kirkwood. We recently had a change in management including maintenance because of the issues we were facing. The issues have been resolved once new management... took over within the past few months. We have cleaned up the property by enclosing the boiler rooms, Remove unwanted tenants, added exterior lighting throughout the property. All new units are being painted to have more of a modern colors including all the hallways on the property and most important a better screening process for new applicants. We want all tenants to have security and live peacefully in our communities. Thank you for your feedback and if there is anything else you think we can improve on, please do not hesitate to reach out to my office here on the property.
