We have a beautiful apartment here! It's quiet and the neighbors are all very nice ! Not to mention we are close to everything! Many upgrades happening since new Management came in. We plan on staying here for many years!

I lived at Barney Square for 7 years. In all those years that I lived there, I received great service when needed & the office staff was very accommodating to me. Barney Square is in the utmost perfect location. Schenectady has grown to be an excellent downtown area over the years with great eateries & some shopping (especially on Jay Street). The first 8 months I lived here I had to deal with very noisy neighbors that I'm quite certain were on welfare. Since they've been kicked out I've really liked the place. The owners upgrade most of the apartments before you move in.

I went by the office twice -- closed. Reviewed published information from their window -- looks like a 12 percent vacancy rate; this is not a good sign. In some ways, this was the preferred location, but hard to do a deal with folks who aren't there, and who seem to have problems doing business.

I signed a lease across the street -- where none of these problems obtain.
