Overpriced/Construction Zone

Before Fairfield took over, this was a quiet and affordable place to live. Now that Fairfield took ownership, that have raised the rent almost $700 in a single year. There is constant construction that it looks like a war zone.

Greed rules all

This used to be a great "mom and pop" complex--until one day, unexpectedly, a rep from Fairfield knocked on our door to tell us they were our new landlords. Rent was doubled, and many of us were forced out of our homes. Most tenants were happy enough pre-Fairfield that they lived here for decades prior. Heartless and horrible.

Horrible

Do you want to live in an active construction site? Well you found the right place! Prepare for your 7am wakeup call of construction workers placing ladders right next to your bedroom window. How nice! And better yet, expect to welcome them into your apartment with no notice every other week for some new project, such as changing the window blinds that were brand new just a few weeks ago when you moved in. All of this when you were promised your apartment was completely renovated when you moved... in. Well I guess not completely renovated. The heat stops working when the temperature gets below zero because the pipes freeze and leak all over the floor. Who needs heat anyway?

Also, good luck finding parking for yourself, let alone any guests you would like to have over. >50% of all parking spots are taken up by giant dumpsters and shipping containers that don't appear to be going anywhere anytime soon.

Seriously though, these are all very serious problems with this place. We were sold a false bill of goods from the leasing agent before we signed our lease that turned out to be total lies almost immediately. You will never feel like your apartment is your home. Rather, you're just a guest in Fairfield's investment property. Go anywhere else with your money.

Beautiful, Great Communication & Helpful

We recently moved to LI and we looked at many places and areas to call home. I happened to stop by Fairfield and waited for it to open. I didn't have an appointment, Terrance was very helpful and from that point on when I saw the apartment and knew it was the perfect spot for us. We appreciate the communication, guidance and for creating an great experience to becoming nee tenants! Thank you!
