Absolutely Do Not Live Here
I lived in this apartment building for two years, including during the peak of the COVID pandemic. During that time, management was doing cosmetic repairs to the building, including ear-shatteringly loud screeching and drilling during all working hours. Tenants begged management to cease this work, but management refused. The work only ceased months later, when a tenant complained to the Department of Labor that this construction violated COVID regulations. Management sent a threatening letter... discouraging tenants from making further complaints because (they claimed) the construction workers were “essential” workers.
Also during the height of the COVID pandemic, management observed my boyfriend place his foot on the elevator door. There was no damage at all, but they claimed he left a footprint. Management slid a note under my door demanding I pay a $100 fine for his “unsanitary behavior.”
This building has absolutely no respect or regard for its tenants. Never live here.
