Overpriced and Dirty

This apartment community is not worth the money. My apartment smelled like weed and cigarettes and I don't smoke either of those. I complained several times to the office staff and was told there was nothing they could do. Also, the valet trash is horrible as there is trash all over the place every day because people don't wait until trash day to put theirs out. Raccoons frequently on premises because of the trash. The office makes money off of the valet trash service so they mandate it for... everyone anyway. Lastly, I moved out in May and was owed money from management because they demanded that I pay my last electric bill to them even though I had already paid it to the electric company. It is now November and I am still waiting on the refund. Have spoken to several people and none of them seem to care. I do not recommend this property, it is not worth the money for the trashy, dirty, smelly premises and staff that does not care about residents.

Don’t waste your time or money

I was a Resident of the community for 3 years. First two years I live in a unit on the 3rd floor. Besides the walls being super thin and hearing my neighbors agrue every night it wasn’t nearly as bad as my final year living In the community. My last year here of living here, August 2018- July 2019 was the ABSOLUTE WORST, I moved to a bigger unit on the the ground floor. Living on the bottom floor was a complete nightmare. Just like the thin walls, the floors are just as thin and I heard... literally everything the 3 women and a child did from stomping to banging no matter what time of the day or night. I filed complaints with the leasing office but nothing ever got resolved. During the warmer months due to the poor construction of the unit the insects creeped in the living room and both bedrooms from the space under the baseboards also under the front door where there was a gap under the door. They came out to “spray” once. The most upsetting experience that sent me over the edge was the fact I found mold In my unit in multiple areas. 7/4/19 I found mold in the utility closet. I made a report and maintenance came out to paint over the mold. After speaking with Stephanie I was told my only option was to move out and term my lease early due to them having no other units available in the community to temporary move into until I found a new place. Two days later 7/6/19 I found more mold on the adjoining wall In the bathroom and more in the living as I moved my belongings out of the unit. Again the guy came came out to paint over the mold. I was informed the mold was due to leak from the above unit. I’m not exactly sure how paint can resolve an internal issue. I normally wouldn’t write a review but I’m disgusted at how little my health along with my newborn child’s health was valued at this point. Along with having to pay rent and utilities from the 7/4-7/12 for a unit I couldn’t live in with a brand new baby. I have reached out several times to Darlene at the corporate office who has yet to return my calls here as of 8/2/19 (3 weeks after moving out). Needless to say as I moving out and looking for other places to live. I look online to see my old unit being advertised as an available unit to move into for July 12th the SAME day I was scheduled to turn in my keys. So I’m not exactly sure how the mold issue could’ve been resolved that quickly.

We are very sorry that you feel your experience here was so negative. Regarding your complaints about noise, it is always okay to bring concerns about possible violations of community rules on the part of other residents, but there is also a certain... amount of noise which is to be expected in multi-family housing situations such as the homes in our community. With regard to your maintenance concerns, we do apologize for your experiences. We understand that this has been frustrating, and we are sorry that we did not have a temporary unit available to you, but when our community is at its maximum capacity there is unfortunately nothing we can do. If you would like to discuss anything you’ve written here in more detail, we encourage you to reach out to us directly.

Great apartment, crappy neighbors

The apartment itself is very nice. It is updated and all of the rooms, for me at least, are perfect size. The management is friendly and are quick to respond to any emails or phone calls. I have yet to have any issues with the staff or apartment. However, I have lived here about 4 months now and am on a 12 month lease that I will NOT be renewing because of the awful neighbors. I have received multiple noise complaints from the office as well as Columbus police for things such as, playing video... games, listening to music while cooking dinner and EVEN on Easter Sunday after I just walked in my door from visiting family. If you live in any apartment, you should expect to hear noises from the surrounding apartments. Unless you are a church mouse, I wouldn't recommend moving here. The neighbors, who I have never met, have ruined what could have been a great living experience for me.

Parking Nightmare

Was told when viewing the property that there was, "Always parking available". This is patently false. We live close to the guest parking that is 15 spots and you still can't find parking at night. Have on several occasions had to park on the other side of the complex and walk 5 minutes to my apartment. When the staff is contacted about parking they say well we aren't here at night and there is nothing we can do about it. They suggested that I check for parking passes and write down people's... information if they are in violation. I have never seen a single car get towed, but we have parking passes for some reason. Avoid living here unless you like long walks to and from your car. If you view the property during the day there is a deceptive amount of parking available. The person who showed us the property said there is 1 spot per person on a lease, which based on the lack of parking is also false!
