My husband and myself moved here after the apt building we were living in burned down. Hallways are kept very clean. Our apt was very clean, with really no problems. Since we have been living here we have had no bug problems, no maintence problems that were not quickly addressed,no problems with neighbors or noise. The buildings and surrounding outdoor areas are well kept and attractive. I'm not sure why the other reviews are negative: I can only assume those problems were resolved before... we moved in. If you are looking for a quiet and well kept place to live, we would definitley recommend Miami Hills.

A Once Great Starter has Come to it's End
I will never fully understand why after years of living here the quality of life continues to spiral downward. Between the communal dryer that was so loud it kept tenants up at night and enough water from broken pipes it would make the king of Atlantis feel cozy, these apartments went from being comfortably priced starters to cheap feeling shelters. The worst of it all is that when you try to get someone to repair these issues, it can take upwards to weeks without contact. And when you do... finally get someone to come out, they'll put some plaster up and call it a day only for this limp bandage to inevitably crumble onto the floor while water soaks into furniture.
The price of rent increases, but you're not gonna get much bang for your buck here.

Do not live here!
If you value quiet or cleanliness I advise you stay away from this apartment. There are roaches in all apartments and all tenants are loud and will play music all night long.
